There is no medal for a near-record. Just admit the defeat!

Part of me: I want to see 1000 runs in an innings
Another part of me: I want to see a fightback from BD

Fear ruling Mushfiqur's mind
Nicely put:
"That decision (electing to bat first), based on fear not foresight, speaks volumes about the mental state of Bangladesh, or at least their captain."

Dev was the most talented one among them, underachieved big time.

I think they already booked 4th day early mall trip. Now they are trying to see if they can bump up a day. What are the chances we get all out twice in two sessions of play?

This match is poised to end in a draw.
Let's remember that this is SA's least experienced bowling lineup in a long time.

Mistake to win a toss, which gave you the freedom to choose what to do in the test match?

^^ Yep. Once again, it's the fault of the bowlers that they could not get Elgar-Amla cheaply. He was standing in deep because he is not a good infield fielder. But he tried from time to time to guide the bowlers, but those morons are unteachable - that's his interview in a nutshell.

Read it. Made me laugh.
He may add later "It was my mistake to come to play in SA, I should have taken days off like Shakib"

Gotta get Faf and Amla in the first hour of play tomorrow or else, I see 800 being scored. No lie. Amla 300 is on

BTW, Akle, I guess you will be happy to hear Mushfiq said Walsh is still a better bowler than our current pacers. It's not his fault that they can't learn from Walsh!

He said Walsh himself bowls in the practice sessions and the batsmen have a hard time playing towards mid-off and mid-on.

I think it is high time Walsh go all Bran Stark and Warg into Rubel or Fizz, probably the only way they could pick some wks
