What should I do with my school boys?
They were supposed to prepare for a test yesterday but they didn't. The passing score was 33. All of them failed except Ashraful who passed with a score of 35. He had some lucky guesses here and there. Now, what should I do with them? Give them a curve or pittano?

Q: What should I do with my school boys?
A: Send them to T_E's basement in Arkansas for an after-school special ... really.

Send them to another boot camp. Make all of them do army commando drills, and cricket drills as well. Out of 100 deliveries, for every ball they edge, they should do 10 push ups, 10 chin ups and 10 jumping jacks. And any ball they hit in the air, they have to do 25 push ups 25 chin ups and 25 jumping jacks.
Hopefully they will do this for a period of 2 weeks twice a day. And if they habit is not improved by then, then our Test status should be removed.

Tell them to grow up and find their pride.
Remind them that the first ever class to take this test back in 2000, had far less experience yet sat the exam with pride and scored well over 300 in the 1st paper. A bit of grit and determination can go a long way....

They look like schollboys and play like school boys playing cricket in high school.
No wonder other counntries call them inexperienced schoolboys who are learning to play cricket against better experienced nations. As one fan remarked here, it is like throwing them into the ocean for them to learn to swim. To play at test level, it is expected that they have already learnt to swim and all they have to do is to improve their strokes and form.
I feel sorry for Coach Siddons, he must be biting his nails wondering how and what he can do to improve about 21 players in five weeks time.

How Ashraful passed that need to be investigated. There must be something wrong with the grading syetem or with the grader. I suggest beter bari to the grader also.
