The BanglaCricket Rebels

I have been in contact with the ICL execs and after giving it much thought, am buying into the idea of forming a team to go by the name "The BanglaCricket Rebels" to play in the upcoming ICL season. I need 13 rebels who want to transform the game of cricket as we know it today. If you can bat half as well as Nazimuddin (score 2 runs in every inning that you play), I am confident that I can get you a $100,000 contract. Treat the two weeks of cricket every year as a vacation, except that in this case you incur negative net expenses.

If you are concerned about the future of the sport and your concerns stem mostly from the pathetically long durations and monotonous nature of the 50 over game, this offer is for you. Specific skills required for this position:

1. Ability to maintain a bowling strike rate below 17 rpo, and/or
2. Ability to maintain a batting average above 2 rpi.

The following skills are not necessary, but would be nice to have:

1. Good with women, especially prospective cheerleaders.
2. A good cricketing brain.

If you are the successful candidate, then you, twelve others and I will not only make a hefty amount over the next three years, but also revolutionize cricket and break free the shackles employed by an invertebrate organization to bind the game that we all love so dearly. This is outrageous. Check your SMSs. Necessary actions wll be taken against anyone who does not pay a 25% finders fee to BC.

Btw, will Preity Zinta ditch IPL to join ICL? If she does, can you guys get an autograph for me, errm, I mean, my wife?

I heard a rumor that a certain Alaskan has been nominated as a CL. Any update on that? She definitely qualifies for this gig.

Complete rumor. I spoke with them a couple of days ago and they promised to never do such a thing. I think, internally, the only one who is involved with this is ATMR. So anything that you want to do, ATMR re dhoira dola den.

i blame the old poster, Gangu Dada (Ganguly) , i knew he wasnt finished with this site, he must have infiltrated and persuaded ATMR (BAshar- u all rememebr the Agent Gangu issue when India toured lol) to set this thread up to advertise for the ICL. tut tut tut Asif bro!!

After convening with BCCI, errr, with the mods and Admin's, we have decided to give all the rebel BCites 1000 demerits and 100 years ban from playing any cricket in BC. That ought to teach them a lesson. We are also investigating ATMR and keeping a close eye on him. We have his net passport/IP under serveilance.

On a brighter note, Dr. Z mentioned that he was not happy with the offer (ala Rajib) so he decided to stick around.

ATMR has reached out to us and after reviewing post#7, we have made a counteroffer to retain his services as the BC cheerleader under one condition, Gopal Bhar, and Fazal (not pictured) must also join him.

I strongly believe that a BC admin should be a member of BCWAB, it's only natural.
