Bowling by injured Tapos and Masrafee - Your opinion
Against the Australia match, Tapos was injured while he was bowling. Without sending him out of the field, Bashar tried to continue with him to finish that over. After being failure for consecutively three times, Tapos got rid of from Bashar and went out of field
Again in SA match, when we were close to an obvious win, Bashar called injured Mashrafee to bowl the 48th over. Mashrafee was looking very tired and unimpressive. That could cause a serious injury for Mash. At that stage, anyone could bowl and the result was the same. Why Bashar is so reluctant to use any sixth bowler? Why he uses the injured bowler? What do you think? Do you support it? I think he will be careful to our bowlers?

I have seen Mash tired and uninspired many times, it does not necessarily mean he was carrying a serious injury each time. Bashar can't just let Mash of the hook and whenever Mash is not feeling motivated.
About Tapash, I think he was pushing himself knowing very well that was his only chance to cement a position in the team. I remember Bashar told Tapash to leave before his last attempt to bowl but Tapash refused.

Mashrafee got stiff muscle while fielding. Even the Physio was in the field couple of time to treat and take care of mashrafee. Mash was out of the field couple of times. But Bashar did not take anyting seriously! Even the TV commentry said that it was a stupid move from Bashar to put mash (apparently uneasy to field and bend) in the 30 yard areas where agility and quick movement is absolute necessary!

Fully agree with the majority opinion on this thread so far. Silly move to jeopardise Mash's health. If Mash is injured we are really up the creek ...

Bashar thought it was our last game in the cup. i don't find any other reason for this stupidity.

Totally agree. We could have tried our sixth bowler. It will not only cover Mashrafee but also would allow Bashar to see if they are any good and if he can use them in future games. If someone is tired and uninspired, a good captain will either make him inspired or use someone else. Forcing the issue won't help.

Keep in mind that Gibbs was batting til the end, he would have murdered Aftab if given the chance. Although we would have won the match from that position regardless who was bowling, our NRR would have gone further down.
If Mash's injury was threatening, the physio should have taken him off the field, it was not Bashar's call.

For Taposh, Bashar came to him several times and asked could he bowl or not. And everytime he said yes and tried. Finally he just took him off. No fault on bashar. I am sure there wasn't a serious injury to replace him from the squad. It is a management decision I guess to get a backup batsmen who can bowl few overs.
For Mash, Bashar shouldn't have used him. If Aftab went for 60 even in two overs we still win the game by 20.
