tbh from the list only imam ul haque is truly young talent.

Rehane is almost one year older than tamim, Fakhar is just one year younger than tamim

Baristow is almost same age as tamim, others are older than tamim

I think Fakhar has piled up a lot of his runs Vs WI, Zim etc. It will be interesting to see his stats minus them and CT17

Holy cow, no one even comes close and yet these Indians finds a reason to bash him. We would happily take half of those 6's for one/two of our player lmao

That must be one of the worst innings that I saw from Tamim, got a life but then gets out again . Couldn't hit the shots properly at all, I hope he gets his mojo back

Tamim usually does poor when we're chasing a target that requires a 6+ rpo

He needs to stop being so restless while batting and try to play proper cricketing shots with good timing like Soumya and 2010's Tamim.

Tamim needs to play his natural game and just rotate strike. Soumya or Liton will be there to take care of run rate. Every time he tries to rush, he plays a rash shot and gets out. That dancing down the track by him is annoying af.

Prothom-Alo is suggesting Tamim is still suffering from PTSD after Christchurch - https://www.prothomalo.com/sports/ar...A6%A8%E0%A6%BF

Has BCB even bothered to do a proper mental evaluation of the players involved that incident before they left the country?

I don't think he is suffering from PTSD. The article doesn't emphasize on that much. Also I really believe our players like mushy miraz road seemed to have recovered.well

Tamim Iqbal in World Cup Matches

Posted this in match thread, but this is where it needs to be said.

2007 - 172 runs in 9 matches @ avg of 19.11
2011 - 157 runs in 6 matches @ avg of 26.16
2015 - 154 runs in 6 matches @ avg of 25.66
2019 - 59 runs in 3 matches so far @ avg of 19.66

What a disaster he has been so far in World Cups.

He is just out of form.. but this happened at the worst possible time, at the start of worldcup.

Y is tamim always out of form. Shakib, mushy or recent riyad might have one bad game but comes back heavily on the other. Tamim is opposite. He has one or two good games among many flops

What can be done now? We know nobody in Bangladesh has the guts to drop a senior player

Shahriar Nafees was dropped in 2007. But yeah tamim, riyad wont be dropped. So koiya laav nai. We gonna have to suck up his disastrous batting. We have to rely heavily of shakib and mushfiq to bail us out. Tamim’s more often than not failures put more pressure upon them. Mind you, shakib also bowls 10 overs and mushy keeps 50 overs. Tamim’s main job is to bat only and he has very few notable performances compare to the others. He is nowhere near a match winner like shakib or mushfiq with the bat.

Tamim Iqbal is like South Africa: outside of world cups, he is a beast. but during world cups, he is a choker.

Apart from that 95 against Scotland(2015 world cup) and that 51 against India(2007) and a couple of other 50s in a losing cause, his world cup record is Abysmal.

He is completely out of shape.

All shots are erratic, RBW is clumsy, hand eye coordination hit rock bottom.
