I thought a full-strength BD team will face the NZ and pull something good out of the match! Anyway, it seems symptoms are not indicating so. I hope there wont be any demoralizing event at the end................Yes, we should have another practice match aginst a strong opponent before Mar17th.

I have watched England vs. Bermuda game on Dish Network and tomorrow they are showing India vs Netherland game. So dont expect that BD vs NZ match will be on the air tomorrow.

I think that was a mistake, DW-Faruque-Bashar probably did not know that teams are playing with 13 players per side in warm-up matches. So, fingers crossed, we may still see Rajin to bat tomorrow. I will personally like to see all three- Rajin, JO, and Tamim, are vying for the second opener spot.

Still to figure out:
1. Who will open with SN
2. Who will open with Mashree
3. Even the 1st change in bowler to bowl within the Power Play: Rajjak/Aftab (Shahadat is more erratic if bowls his second spell within the 1st 20 overs)
4. Mushi has lot to improve behind the wicket......
Hope BD think tank would get a clue before Mar17. I pray for Tamim's luck....once he will get the run....he will get going ...but ....will it happen tomorrow?

BD must play the best 11 tomorrow regardless of the media speculation.

Yup. Shahriar Nafees is left out, along with Rajin and Rafiq.

Shahriar Nafees and Rafique are out for tomorrow's game and it actually may be a blessing in disguise. SN is out and that allows us to play our three openers. I know Rajin is already out for tomorrow's game but since they can play upto 13 players, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be tried tomorrow. Again, Rafique is out and that allows us to try all four pacers. Lets see how Tapash and Rasel perform.

I want to see some Tamim Iqbal, Aftab and Ashraful fireworks tomorrow. Good luck BD!
I wish Rafique and Nafees could have played on tomorrow's important game. This game will decide what BD can do in this world cup.

for sure man. i'm definitely looking forward to an entertaining match. both team have batsmen capable of producing fireworks (although only one team has batsmen who have done it on a consistent basis). shane bond will be a handful though.

Funny that I am quoting myself ... :p but I thought this would be useful here:
Quote:
I checked the link last night and CBC Radio 98.1 seemed to broadcast the England match commentary. However, I listened only for a few minutes and during that time it was music and commentary mixed stuff ... like one second there was music and the next it was commentary and so on ... Not sure if it will be fixed today or if there will be live broadcast, by maybe its worth a shot.
N.B. the link above will open a pop-up window with the player.

it wouldnt surprise me if shane bond was rested for this game he was rested during 1 or 2 of the games against australia in the chappel hadlee series
he is such a key for the black caps and they dont want him to suffer a back injury before the world cup starts

By the way, should we field first today? I wish Hablu win the toss and take the right decision.
