New Zealand another team I envy and love. fun to watch. South Africa vs. New Zealand is one of my favorite rivalries so much so that you want both to win ( Battle of pure skill)

If SA can get something around 300-350 ish they have a chance at this game. but a lot of that depends on what NZ posts in their first innings(they have very capable players to bat long).

Should be a cracker of a series

20 overs left in the day...NZ will be looking to wrap up the tail ASAP..hoping that SA doesn't reach 250.

Both Philander and Kagiso capable of staying at the crease and bat.

Believe it or not, I think MJ santner is currently the best if not at least one of the best SLA in the world right now....(Shakib used to hold that spot not too long ago, but his bowling lost a little bit of venom in recent times i feel).

Not based on record but based on current form

This may be weird...but Williamson reminds me of Carl Hooper.

His calm demeanor...even bowls the lollipop, grace and elegance in his strokeplay.

I haven't known that Ross Taylor averages 48 in tests

Also, how about Tommy Latham? The bloke averages 41..he is one of the most underrated players on the world stage.,go about doing his business

Latham is dismissed....pitched up ball from steyn..that got the outside edge and carried to first slip, amla takes it at neck height.

Skipper Kane williamson, with a test average of 51 arrIves at the crease..

There is overcast conditions at durban...the ball is moving around more than a bit...the bowlers are afraid of pitching it up...the attendance of the slip cordon is high...

Kagiso will be more than a handful here...so far it's been philandee and steyn...the innings is quite young yet..into the 8th over..the score is 7/1

12 overs gone and NZ are 15/2...no bowling change as of yet...steyn and philander hittin the right line and length...aided by the too friendly overcast conditions

That same overcast condition has now turn to rain and it has stopped play

NZ are fighting back in this 2nd test.

SA with a 1st innings lead of 257, were comfortably placed with building a target for the Kiwis that was out of reach....They are 99/6 in their 2nd innings...

The lead is currently 365
