Winning the toss, ULAB sent UoS in to bat first and skittled them out in just 18.1 overs for 74 runs. Anjum Ahmed, Mohammed Islam, Arifur Rahman and Mahbubur Rahman all picked up two wickets each. UoS opener Ben Trevor-Jones top-scored with 28 and was the only batsman who crossed double figures.
ULAB reached the modest target of 75 in just 6.4 overs, thanks to a 24-ball half-century by captain Mohammad Hasanuzzaman. The other opener Anjum was unbeaten on 11.

Remember Hasanuzzaman. He made a half century with ease against SU.

No I don't. I honestly don't. I'd be lying if I said I did.

Won the toss, decided to field, lost by 25 runs against England.

LU made 169. I think they made 20 extra runs which reduced the chance.

Wow! Last time I checked in the morning ULAB were 4 down reeling on 57 something. In the end they were able to beat South Africa two times defending champion.

153/9 in 20 overs.
That is a big win for BD considering RSA is the strongest of the lot.

In other news India lost to UAE.

And now UAE beat India, petty for India being such a large land surpassing the number of private UNI compared to any other contenders, also they go through a very competitive qualifying round.

What's the name of your fellow crony?

BD in final will take on SL.

Congratz. Hasanuzzaman and Co.

Quote:
University of Liberal Arts’, Bangladesh scrapped together to complete one of the upsets of the Red Bull Campus Cricket competition’s history – their spirited spinners sucking the air from UCP innings through the middle overs, before their lower order cracked crucial late boundaries to complete a fraught chase of 153, in the semi-final.
Unfancied at the beginning of this campaign, with only two victories in the last two years of this event, ULAB – a Dhaka-based college – has now surged into Sunday’s final. This last-over victory against a hitherto unbeaten side was extraordinary enough, but ULAB had already sneaked a last-ball win over South Africa in the group stages to enter the knockout phase.
And look at this, I did not know Mash has a brother who played cricket, nice.

Quote:
...No. 10 batsman Morsalin Mortaza, brother of Bangladesh limited-overs captain, Mashrafe, squeezed the next ball towards cover and scampered to the other end.....
