Banglacricket Revamp

Guys, dont mean to be rude or anything but BC cricket needs a revamp,its starting to look old,compared to the other forums out there,I suggest we change the layout,i have some ideas i will post up ,in the meantime suggestions would be a good way to start

No not really, we had a poster who'd dabble in photo-shopping and was good at it. Don't think he posts anymore

I like the initiative. BC definitely needs a revamp from this old and boring looking format. But I don't think it really matters at this point. People got bored and left already so I don't think changing anything is gonna work anymore.

I hate going to PakPassion and haven't been there in a while but one thing I really like is the way they keep appearance of the forum up to date. Their front page is filled with updates and news and they update their background, banners etc. based on the series Pakistan play or they would have WC themes and such. It's really a lively place and it's one of the reason why there are more people there.

I don't think something like that is possible here at BC but would love to have some change here and there.

Why, Not don`t they use Vbulletin same as us.

If I may weigh in. It's the content and quality of posts that drives a forum not appearances. Last thing we need is BC becoming another Facebook which updates every single month irking and irritating the users. People likes simplicity and sometimes status quo is good. Eh....call it heritage you may. Because once you start changing it, you will get bored after two months and would want to usher in more changes.

Haven't gone into PP or ICF for a while, but the very reason why I like BC is because of the simplicity. Kinda like how Tetris and Pacman are still classics in video game.

Away with bells and whistles and fills and filligrees. But then again that is just an opinion. Would be curious to note other people's inputs.

I think they do? I am not really sure. I'm not saying it's not possible because site differences but because we don't seem to have people in place that would be into that.

I guess so but some activity is preferred. At least on the front page. Like the latest article we had was back in March 2016. We could also have features in the front page like "Latest Images" "Talent Spot" etc.

It all really depends on how many people visit the forum. Traffic is so terrible unless it's game day. More people would've meant more chance of creative people showing up.

I don't think we need major changes on it's outlook. probably just updating the background pics on on major lead pages every now and then. All are fin as Gopal da mentiuoned simplicity is the best and I am with him. If someone can just updates the bacground pics more often wit relevancy.

We live in a new-age. The forum looks kind of dull. I think BanglaCricket should adopt a similar theme to Pakpassion. The goal is to make this forum site grow. Pakpassion is popular for a reason. Definitely need to change the theme. We should have a few web designing experts by now.
