From the first few matches in the African zone, I'd not be too sure about the teams you've listed; I also have doubts about a couple of the European teams - they can be so unpredictable at times.

As for the Oceanian region, I feel that it will once again fail to make a world cup appearance.

In the Asian region, I'm not so sure about Iran.

From North America, Canada will definitely not qualify.

From the South, I wouldn't rule out Bolivia and Peru - you never know.

However, I do agree that yours is the most likely group.

Go Australia they will have a real chance this world Cup. They would have been definites if FIFA hadnt changed their mind about the oceania automatic Quilification.

its really not fair what oceania has to go thru every time... with the playoffs with south america atleast they have slim chances all the time.... if they HAVE to go for a playoff at all (which shudnt be the case) then atleast have a playoff with the Asians...

I don’t think so, it’s quite fair. No offence, but it would be quite easy meal for Australia to grab that final spot in Germany. I mean what are the chances for the rest of the Oceania countries to overtake Australia. It’s very slim. Now, if you check rest of continental zones and how fieriest the competition is, then you would think otherwise for the Oceania zones. Anyway, best of luck to Australia or whoever go through for that playoff spot.

Solomon Islands and New Zealand would provide competition for Australia. But I think Australia will be the Oceania team.

I think its just there good luck that they are such a huge portion of that zone... allah deese ora ki korbe... tai bole we have to put them in the gallows everytime they want to qualify? If FIFA is so worried abt giving them a cakewalk why play the South americans... let them atleast play the asians... thats all... but i still believe its a continent (oceania) and it shud be given the same qualifying system as given to every other ones...

and jodi antarcticar kono country khelte chai the same rule shud apply to them as well...

ya they tried that already still they couldn’t make to the final. I remember last time when they came very close to qualify, but unfortunately they couldn't get pass Iran.

Once again I am going to say no, there is hardly any competition in that region. Let me give you and example: pretty much every country in South American could whop any team in the world. Even though all those team are worthy enough to compete in world cup, but how many team they usually represent only 4 or so. Same goes for Europe, Africa, even Asia where competitions are much much stronger than Oceania region. Anyway, Australia suffered enough it’s about time luck goes in thier way.

Yeah exactly that is the major hurdle that australia has. If Kewell and Viduka play brilliant games along with Emerton and the rest then Australia will be in the world cup for the first time in over 30 years.

You better believe it. We simply suck at other sports, especially football, which I cared about so much.

we also suck in cricket man...it's just that there aren't too many countries playing cricket to kick our butts harder than the few that do play are doing right now

Do you get to see any other sports in Bangladesh ever being mentioned on FrontPage of BBC Sports or Sky Sports or eve yahoo sports? I don’t think so. But, at least we get to see our country’ name mentions when the boys play cricket. So that’s something you should be proud of boy.
