Default Does Cricinfo publish comments if one criticises, constructively, the Indian fans, team or BCCI?

CricInfo moderates the comments before publishing. No complaints there. However, in one of my comments I criticised the Indian fans (trolls) by simply saying that they shouldn't underestimate Bangladesh. I did put the word "trolls" in bracket. Just that. Nothing offensive about anything else. My comment was not published.

I saw hundreds of comments where people stated some awful things about our team and our fans. So why the double standard?

I wonder if the moderator himself is an Indian fan (troll).

Anyone else experience anything similar?

Cricinfo is an Indian site. Open your own website and takeout your frustration on India there. Cricinfo wont allow that.

Thanks.

I thought ESPN owns CI.

On the other hand, I think we use the "trolls" too liberally. Not all criticisms and views different than ours are troll.

The reason for the Bias is because:

Most of the IT/Dev work is done by Indians.
Most of the content writers/Commentators are Indians(except for different "representatives" from different countries such as Mohammad Isam from Bangladesh, George Dobell from England etc...)
The site is moderated by Indians.

It's about time you folks walk away from our trash: Besides Cricinfo, here's betting you and everybody else at home keenly follows the IPL, Bollywood movies and Hindi soap operas.

If you folks yet drool over one or more of the above with your tongue hanging out, you deserve what happens to you in full.

How hard is it to quit visiting one website anyway? There are 1 billion others to choose from, just navigate away from frikkin Cricinfo if it gets you hot and bothered. But no, you'll be back for more tomorrow.

I have a lot of respect for those guys...I frequent the statsguru engine regularly. Concerning the comments' section...there is not a single social media site on this planet where the comments turn into a finger fight between keyboard warriors.

It should be established that at what point a line is crossed....different sites have a different tipping point.

Speaking of the bias, in that sample space on CI, there are gonna be more Indians regardless.

Brother not sure why you getting so intolerant to foreign posters. We are not regulars here anyway. Personally I just turn up occasionally and mostly post here if there is an Indo-Bangla match. Also bcoz I am a Bengali, I have got a soft corner for Bangla cricket team.

I have 300 posts in almost 2 years...that is app 150 post a year...12.5 posts/month.

My brother Vahroone...has meager 140 odd posts in 3 years.

We are occasional visitors and not regular. Peace

Your not a Bengali. Stop lying about that. That's a lie, can be noticed miles away.

Few lines in Bangla, doesnt make you bengali. Many people know other langs and well too, doesnt mean they are that ethnic.

Hope you get out of your bengali obsession.

We welcome you guys, happy to have you here. But lets not argue over silly, trivial issues. In Indian forums, i presume they wont say nice things about us. But that doesnt mean we need to go there and start defending ourselves.

Happy to hear you ve got a soft corner for BD cricket. Now lets hope you could reflect that in your posts :P

Current trend: the lower your post per day count, the humbler the poster....

We cry too much... One of the reasons why we get attacked in these social media sites because we feel like the need to "reply". If it helps those Indians sleep at night by trolling on a weaker opponent then be it! Getting a reply published in one of THEIR site doesn't mean jack....

We stoop down to their level and then we complain

I never posted on CI but recently saw some utter rubbish comments from Indian fans. Some them saying, like: 'Afg is better cause they run BD close', 'Afg deserves to win cause it's better BD just lucky to win' - etc. So this logic of theirs, BD is better than India and SA because BD beat both them in ODI series recently and both IND and SA are worse than Afg because, Afg run BD close at home???

There is some proper strange posters on CI. Nothing but trolling. Obviously, all of that we can see but little do they know how much fool they're making out of themselves!

Gold.

Learn how to deal with the trolls. Not respond and ignore. If it hurts your eyes, see the username and WRITE it down and keep it handy next time trying to read the comment section.

We are biased. 99% of people are biased. So?

White are biased against "Black live matters"
Cops are automatically extra concerned on traffic stop when the skin color has a shade.
We are biased against non-believers and show it ALL THE TIME.

To have a sane mind, the trick is to love everyone (except the oppressors). Human, ants, elephants etc. Try help others no matter what skin color, back ground, gender religion, that person has. That is the ISLAMIC teaching.

Which is an Indian site as well. Ten years from now you'll have the usual suspects whingeing about being barricaded out there as well.

Masochists, the lot of them.

The talent in the Cricbuzz commentary is way better than Cricinfo's...

Spicier...more chutney in their dish.

More oomph!!!
