Akram Khan should be out of test match squad
Akram Khan should be out of the test match squad. It is now a harsh reality that Akram Khan is no test match cricketer.
Maybe he could have been if his age was around 20s - then he might have the chance and the time to learn to be a test match batsman.
Anyway, we might need him against South Africa in tests because of his fluency against pace attack.
There's no way that I would include him in my best test eleven now. Lets wait and see what the team management does this time - will they succumb to the pressure of the media men or will they go their own way to include him.

Couldn\'t Agree More!
Akram has failed time and time again. The time has come for him to make way for the rising talents. He should retire but still contribute to BD cricket in some way. Maybe coach and share his experience as an International Cricketer. After all, Akram Khan is one of the reasons BD has Test status right now.
The question is how is going to be his replacement. Once Mehrab and Omer are back in form it''ll be all the much harder to pick who should be in.

re : akram khan
"fluency against pace attack" - ha ha ha ha. Yes, he did score 10 not out when we were shot out for 52, didn't he.
Sorry fwullah, but no one except Bashar is fluent against pace attack.

No need to say sorry
I knew it myself that I was exaggerating the point of Akram being "fluent against pace attack". Otherwise, I would have written down an article on him and send it to Tehsin.
And the 10 / 12 run not out was exactly in my mind when I said that including his 50 against Pakistan attack on very good batting wicket of Sri Lanka in 97 Asia cup (as well as his other good scores against Pakistan - one being his 42 in the 99 world cup).
