Default So, Who Wants the Term 'CONfiqur' To Be Abolished?

Fair question.

Now fire away.

**@MODS: I tried to put a poll, but not successful due to my 2G data plan..please put one up if its suitable**

count me, I just don't like the idea showing disrespect to our players by mocking up their names, sure you can have say on their performance but not attacking personal way as if you are involved in their life and you know all.

I wish I had a nickname like this for my ex back in the days after the breakup.

Count me in. I think far more insidious force such as Illuminati is behind this.

This will set a DANGEROUS precedent. So no.

I hope common sense prevails and freedom of speech of mocking public figures is allowed.

There's nothing offensive about "Confiqur." It's more a weird obsession that's annoyingly repetitive, not clever, and makes absolutely no sense.

Finally - someone showing some maturity. Thank you.

I had been avoiding all thread/posts etc having that word in it. Mushfik has not only been great soldier for the Bangladesh Cricket team but also has an ambassador for Bangladesh Cricket. OK he is going through bad form recently but it does not mean we can call him by names. Using this type of word to call him, I find very insulting and derogatory.

So yes please.

Guys, just report anything derogatory to any crickter's personal life, we will take care accordingly once we notice it.

I will be more than happy not to call him Confiqur but I'll call him "JackFruit" or in Bangla "Kathal". And Mod PoorFan, I can attest that Jackfruit comes from a respectable family, so nothing on his personal life.

People should not be bothered about what some fair weather fans come up with. Freedom of speech is important even if it sounds idiotic to most. Those that have stuck with this team through the dark ages.. 2003 and 2014 more specifically, know very well how bad things can get. If we had a bad patch like that now this confiqur group would want the whole team and probably the government to be sacked. The older fans know our progress is a journey with ups and downs and We are where we are today because we persisted with a core group of cricketers. Talking about this only gives it more traction than it deserves.

It's a combination of Conman and Mushfiqur.
