Default Afghanistan may join 2014 Asia Cup
The ACC will decide in a meeting whether Afghanistan will be allowed to join the Asia Cup. In the past the BCCI has opposed Afghanistan's participation.

Political move from BCCI.
I see no possibility of the Afghans in the Asia cup soon, unless BCCI change it's policy...I wish though.
