Our neighbors have unearthed a couple of teenage speedsters.
Nagarkoti apparently hit 150 during the U-19 world cup last year and was consistently around 145.
Hasnain just debuted in ODIs vs Australia and was consistently around 145 clocking several at around 148.
I wonder how quick the present Bangladesh U-19 batch is. I think the fastest teenagers we've had are Taskin, Rubel, and Fizz and all were around the 140 mark with Taskin and Rubel perhaps hitting 145-146 max.

Speed doesn't guarantee success, it has to be backed up by other attributes
Maybe you are talking about Jermaine Lawson? Fidel Edwards and Jerome Taylor were quick too.

(Just the bowler) Imran Khan, Richard Hadlee, Kapil Dev all were speedsters in their beginning of their careers. After injury all became medium pacers. Yet they found success in their 130ish deliveries. Loads of success. It is the brain that we lack. Fizz was so good in sending 6 Yorkers in an over. Now he can't do 1 in 24 balls quota.

Exactly my point, we don't need 150k bowlers. Also the the thing with our pacers is once they get injured they become extremely fragile, such as Fizz and end up getting injured a few more times.

Hasnain has just come back from an injury. Nagarkoti missed the entire IPL season last year with a foot injury, and is a withdrawn player for this year's IPL as well meaning he must be injured. Same with Shivam Mavi (another quick Indian teenager).

1.3 Saini to Sharma, FOUR runs, inside edge! And it's the result of Rohit being unprepared for the pace and movement. Saini hits the deck at 144 kph and gets the ball to dart into the right-hander, who tentatively brings his bat down and is lucky not to chop on
1.4 Saini to Sharma, no run, fullish, 147kph, and outside off, Rohit steps forward and lets it go
1.5 Saini to Sharma, no run, 149 kph, back of a length and angled into off stump, Rohit keeps to his crease and blocks to point.
3.1 Saini to de Kock, 1 run, 142kph, full on middle, he turns it to mid-on
3.2 Saini to Sharma, no run, 142kph, blocks a good length ball outside off.
3.4 Saini to Sharma, no run, full, 149 kph, and outside off, he eases it to cover
Navdeep Amarjeet Saini - 26 year of age.

3 balls over 145kph and one 144kph. That is some serious pace.
India is producing some quick bowlers recently whereas Bangladesh can't produce any bowlers who can consistently bowl over 140kph.
