Does Dav know the Best BG XI ?

Does know the best BG XI, or even the XI that is going to play at Lords, the only way to decide is process of elimination.

We have 16 players in the squad.

Talha will certianly not play.
Look as though Shahriar Nafees wont play either.

so that leaves 14.
We know his going to use 4 bowlers.
Javed and Nafees will open.
Aftab will play because of that bowling option.
Bashar at number 4.
Ashraful at 5.
its look as though he is interested in Rahim, either for this test or 2nd. But who will he drop?

6. Rajin or Rahim
7. Mashud
8. Rafique
9. Mashrafe

Rajin or Rahim? No man, rajin is still way ahead of rahim.

Shahadat or Anwar? I think its Shahadat because of his pace. And taposh is a certain. experience do count for something.

I agree with ur possible list.. except.. I think... Shahadat, Taposh will play. About Rajin / Rahim.. i am really not sure and need to see the performance of both in the last practice match. My guess.. if Rajin even plays well in atleast one innings.. he will be able to keep his position in the team, even,. if Rahim plays well in both the innings.

no monir. taposh has to play. playing good in one match shouldnt get monir to play lords test. as far as rajin saleh goes he should play in lords too. i am also in favor for playing one spinner. so no enamul for lords test.

javed omar(we need him if we want to go distant)
nafis iqbal(javed and nafis best opening partner)
habibur bashar(our best batsman no doubt)
ashraful(we hope he can play according to his ability)
rajin saleh(bad form but no one better)
aftab ahmed(batsman and can help in bowling)
khaled mashud(who else?no one pilot is the best)
rafique(sorry enamul your not that good yet)
masrafee(our fast bowling is pathetic without him)
taposh(he can come handy, alot better then monir)
shahadat(this guy is good, maybe next masrafee)

this should be the team for the first test.

It will be, surely! The forecast looks really bad for the next two days, this game against Northants might well be over. And if that is the case, I can't see the team being anything but the one above.

we should play with 2 spinner. We do not need Rajin.
If Rahim does good in the 3rd practice match then we must
select Rahim else Aftab. So the team should like this:

7. Mashrafe
8. Rafique
9. Anwar / Taposh
10. Shahadat
11. Enamul

Its a tough decision to leave out Enamul Haque but I want Bangladesh to play an extra batsman in Aftab who can also bowl a bit. And Bangladesh has to play 3 fast bowlers at Lords.

rahim is impressive. thats true. which is why he got his reward already and that is he got to play the third practice match. but it is really foolish to think that mushfiq is better than rajin. we already have a very good wicket keeper by the way. so i dont think we are going to rush an U19 player in lords. its not like we are lacking players now.

apni kintu thiki bolechen. this is the most sensible team of this 16 players in terms of experience and everything. and if people want to play players like monir and mushfiq i will say they are emotionally blind.
