Default Two balls make batsmen battle- New Rule (Disaster for Bangladesh Top Order)?

The recent introduction of two new balls in each innings will make opener's Job really hard in ODI. I am really worried about our opener's be it Tamim Iqbal or Anamul Haque. I have been following Champion's trophy and except the Indian opener's every other countries opener's including Hashim Amla, Chris Gayle, Dilshan etc struggled. How will the new rule effect our openers, bare in mind that in Zimbabwe Tamim performed ordinarily under the new rule. not just the opener's how will it effect our top order batsmen? its crazy seeing Pakistan and others getting bowled out for low scores.

Two new balls from either side actually benefits the batsmen more than the bowlers. The ball will remain hard for a longer period, thus making it easier to hit. Also a harder ball means spinners won't get as much turn. If anything, I think it's the spinners who have got the raw end of the bargain to some extent. Bowling with a harder ball with 4 men outside the 30 yard circle is a tough job, and it'll text the calibre of the spinner to its fullest.

They changed two new balls for a while now.

Champion's trophy and struggle with opener may be very spcific to British pitch.

Pakistan's batting problem in limited over is nothing new, nothing to do with two new balls. Their batting strategy and selection of top order batsman is bound to fail in today's limited over games. They start very slowly and fail to take advanage of first 10 over power play and rely on last 10 overs to make up the runs and hope their strong bowling will save them. Now that they even don't have Afridi/Razzak type of batsman to make up the RR deficit. Plus they fill up the fron end with test player type batsman than giving chance to Umar Akmal or slashing opnerer type players.

We are in same sh*t, with or without two new balls, no impact whatsoever. Before we get killed by reverse swing and spnners and now we will get killed by two fast bowlers.

Two balls make batsmen battle- New Rule (Disaster for Bangladesh Top Order)?
Sorry I may have misunderstood your question and end up giving a long answer.

Now that I re-read the title again, you want our opener batsmans with no balls?

You need to follow a little closer. Dilshan is so out of form. Chris Gayle is not playing 20 over matches. The one that was 28 overs he did good. Didn't Alma make a good score in one? There is nothing crazy about Pak/Aus getting bowled out for a low score. It is not about the ball but the pitch they are playing in.

As for the two new balls hurting BD team... we don't have good pacers, spinners will have hard time to spin it in early overs.

The rule was meant to give the pace heavy teams an advantage. Unfortunately Pak/Aus/SA struggled mightily.
