I don't think its a good idea. The older generation and the new one has a lot of differences in them. I just think we need somebody who understands the new mentality better.

Minhazul Abedin Nannu is the best media manager if we appoint him the post. He always tells the 'harsh' truths, that we don't want to hear.

bulbul has been coaching abahani if i am not mistaken and look at the team's performance, they are the no.1 in the league even after missing key players... and he has coaching experience from australia where he got the grade 3 certificate.... and recently in a channel I interview he mentioned how he helps a lot of national players like ashraful, alok when they have problems with their batting and need guidance they go to him.. he is also a very good communicator and handles the media well. Also has test experience, hell he is such a good choice... i will surely go for him

I believe Bulbul has completed higher level coaching qualifications than Sujon has, but I might be wrong.

I will go for Bulbul. He successfully completed coaching course in Australia. Moreover
he was the coach of the last corporate league champion team and currently Abahoni
is leading the premier league under his brilliant coaching.

Yeah if any from these 3.. Bulbul should be the one.
Definately not Minhazul Abedin Nannu.. He'll create more Nannus..

Yea I thought too, but we have to wait for official release rather than media announcement or speculations.

The head coach can do the motivating. The specialist coaches should know the technical stuff inside out.

Personally I think there's nothing wrong with appointing a couple of Bangladeshi coaches. There's no point bringing in foreign experts in any industry if they're not going to pass on their technical knowledge to the locals.

I think we should give Bulbul the chance to prove himself as a coach for A team first. Without a doubt the guy is the most qualified cricket coach in our country, and because he is an ambitious person we can expect him to keep updating his skills and knowledge. Its best to give him more responsibility, and A Team wont be bad. For the time being Nannu wouldnt be bad as a batting coach.

We need:

test batting coach
odi batting coach
slog over batting coach (20/20)
test bowling coach (setting up a batsman and fool him)
ODI bowling coach (line length balls to minimize runs and create pressure)
slog over bowling coach (yorkers at the death overs)
fielding coach (would be working under bowling coach to implement strategies)
captaincy coach (Curtesy to samurai post 28)
Assistant batting coach (looking over the batting coach, creating strategy)
Assistant bowling coach (" " " " " " " " " " bowling " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " )
Head coach (to co-ordinate the offensive and defensive planning)

Super Headcoach...to look over head coach
Super Super Headcoach...to look over super head coach...

...just kidding...but this way, the coaching staff can be more in numbers than the players....

Bulbul-easy choice. Got plenty of professional training as a coach and can teach our boys to play long innings, something we badly need.

And a coach's coach too!! How about some really old cricketers who are still alive with wigs, dentures and prosthetics (no offense to them)

Spot on. A lot of us keep confusing Tests with ODIs. 30 runs and we label a batsman 'Champion' (SN-Match thread, first test-CTG), and if someone stays at the crease for an extended period without scoring we label him a 'loser'. So, yeah, fans need to grow up as well and understand the game situation.
