I understand Elias was flat out ugly in SL but Elias and Enamul are similar in quality imo but still would rate Elias ahead of Enamul

Arafat Sunny's average and SR are also better than Enamul's in List A's and FC's plus his T20 stats are not much worse off.

I can feel for Enamul but he also has to understand that there are other SLA's that are doing very well as well. Unfortunately for him, it's the biggest competition in the team. Razzak and Gazi are basically locks for T20I's and ODI's. Tests are probably the only format where he's got a chance but again he has both the Sunny's and Sajib to compete with. So it'll continue to be tough for him but that's how tough it is to get in to the national team as a spinner.
while bpl is the only competitive t20 league in bd & enam was best in the league, i cant understand which statistics u r mentioning.

I was talking about T20 performance. I would certainly rate Enam higher than Elias in T20. As per BPL performance, I think enamul has been the better T20 bowler around.

Elias was the highest wicket taker in BPL 1. In 7 T20I matches he's taken 9 wickets at an an avg of a 16 with a SR of a 15.

Why the need to replace him then? Again only spot Enamul could take is Arafat who also has very good stats to back himself up.

I would preferrably pick Enam not only on the basis of stats but average. Its true that Elias has good stats in T20Is but you need to look at the opposition-Ireland/Scot/Dutch mainly.

However, its just a hypothesis that Enamul would be much more useful in the international arena

Regardless of the opposition. Those stats are very good.

I like both spinners honestly. They're both good spinners who have had some success in international cricket. Both aren't afraid to flight their deliveries and give it a rip.

I honestly don't see much separation in our SLAs in terms of quality like I've always maintained.

Elias Sunny has more batting ability than Enam. In T20 this could be a factor behind his inclusion over Enam Jnr. I would have love to see Sanjamul Islam, though. This lad has a very decent stats with both the ball and bat. But, we got so many decent SLAs. Naturally, the competition is so fierce.

This will be a great platform for Sabbir to further his case.

On a different note, we better get used to seeing Tamim in and out of the play because of his fitness issues. He has been over weight and lethargic most of the time over the last few years. This boy better hit the gym, kick bat habbits (smoking) and get fitter and stronger. He simply doesn't look like an athelete these days. He has boobies for crying out loud! If he continues in the same vain, expect serious non-performance both on and off the field.

Sohag Gazi also must hit the gym. This boy is a future suspect for running into fitness related issues.

They should have put the national team bowlers on the A team. I would rather have batsman's face our best bowlers. Anamul, Soumya, Naeem might hit Farhad Reza and Alauddin Babu all over the park and make the squad. I would have preferred to see them facing against Gazi, Mash, Shakib and Razzak. This tournament is suppose to give our players real match practice, that will not be accomplished if they are facing hit me kind of full tosses from Farhad Reza.

At this point Raj-Sunny-Enam deserves an equal chance to make the squad. Raj is no better performer than the other two where T20 is concerned.

An average of about a 19 with an Econ rate of under a 7 and SR of a 16 in 28 T20Is, Razzak deserves to be ahead of the other SLAs. Take in in to account of how much more experience Razzak has compared to the others and Razzak should be pretty much a lock for the WC squad IMO

Fair enough

It will be a breath of fresh air if we produced a leggie of the quality of our SLAs, a chinaman bowler like Hogg won't be bad

For shorter format
Zunaid>Imrul and Aumi
Rok>Ayub
Mossadek>>>Mithun(?)
Enam deserved it more than Elias.
And what on earth did Aumi do to return..

Thats some serious economy bowling by Reza.... seeing how the total was still pretty good. Great figures from Babu and good allround performance by Gazi.

Idk man those are good stats right there. Not easy to replicate which is why Raj deserves to be far ahead of the rest of the SLAs

I will accept that Raj has been our better spinner in LOIs. His test performance has a lot to be desired

I agree and we should look for another spinner in Tests. T20Is and. ODIs though Raj deserves to be in the side. Regardless of what people say, he's got very good stats behind him is one of our main weapons in LOIs.
