Hathuri was a great coach for our team in that time. He turned around our disastrous 2013-2014 team to where it is today. He along with Mash instilled a different approach to our game. But Steve Rhodes and Neil Mckenzie is taking us to the next level I believe.

I disagree, it was all about Mash and the arrival of new guns like SS, Musta, Taskin and Sub-bir, these guys were really good in 2015.
Look at Srl now under Hathor

Sri lanka is in turmoil, due to politics, nepotism and all sorts of bad things.

Hathurisinghe had his faults, when he coached Bangladesh, but you can't deny some of the players he picked from grassroot level were really good find, and to instill good discipline in all of them, that had a good impact.

Soumya was spotted by Haturi. we cant deny that. otherwise he was nowhere near the radar...soumya in domestic cricket not that good

For those who are saying Soumya was found be Hariri.. yes no one's denying that.. but it was also Hariri that almost destroyed him by making him play all formats, in different positions. Soumya was on his way to become Nasired. Thankfully the current coaching setup revived that. And unlike Haturi, they dropped him when he didn't perform, made him play domestics and then brought him back

You are entitled to your opinion. But see, if you say it was all Mash that made the transition is not true. Mushfiq was captain when Haturi started and he also suggested that Mash be the captain. They both along with bcb instilled a different approach. haturi had his pros and cons and what’s happening in sri lanka is totally unrelated to his contributions to our team. To deny his contributions to our rise is not good in my view. The current lot is better than haturi era but we should give credit where credit’s due.

He instilled confidence, that is for sure.

However, I would give a shoutout to our ex-coach Jamie Siddons, who brought out Marble slabs for the boys to tackle steep bounce on tennis ball.

True. Siddons had immense passion for our team and one of the coach that really cared for bd team a lot. He guided tamim from his initial days to much more compact player.

Coaches come and coaches go. They work and get paid for their work and whatever big or small contributions they make, we should not depreciate their hard work. They work for our benefits. Kau re choto ba heyo kore boro hoyar kichu nai ami sheta mone kori. Hope all our coaching stafffs find success in their respective fields.

Today our bowlers bowled pretty good stump to stump and made it harder for SA to score runs. It was good to see.

saif has become a good dependable bowler from a trundler. I think walsh deserves some praise too..not much but definitely some
