Agt England, i would like to gamble with either Sabbir or Noor Hossain. The way they are playing, it's really hard to pick one above the other. Both are decent with the ball, although the numbers look better for sabbir at the moment. Both are fantastic with the bat as well. Sabbir has been the best batsman in our u-19 WC campaign.
Noor hossain's fabulous hitting coupled with his fine bowling in the 2 games he played left one wondering why he was not there in earlier matches. he might be given a chance as well.

I still think enamul is our best bet right now. He was given a go in the ODI side last year and though he didn't play against India, I think he has played for BD more regularly in the last year than ever before in his career.
Don't forget, the last time england toured BD, the English were amazed at Enamul's ability and made comments like "if he were english, he'd walk into the test side" (this was before the emergence of Monty and graeme Swann).
I'd like to see what he can do against England.
For the future Shuvo and Nabil samad are worth grooming...

Shuvo and Saqlain stand out big time. Either should get a chance however Shuvo may have the edge. I think we need a 2nd specialist spinner. Bangladesh tend to do better with 2 specialist spinners, one reason is because we don't have good pacers. If the pacers cannot take wickets in the begining or when they are expected to take wickets, the pressures go to spinners, hence 2 specialist spinners can take a greater responsibilities instead of one. I don't believe it part time spinners to do major jobs. We can only expect a little from Ryad or Naeem in terms of bowling. They are handy, great to have but we cannot just rely on them to do major jobs. We have strength in spin bowling rather than pace bowling, so lets use our strength instead of following other countries who have strength in pace bowling.

yeah the pacers often don't make the break throughs and that's when an extra quality spinner will come in handy (which is almost every match for BD). BD has the various types of players to allow an extra spinner, even though shakib is the quality of a specialist spinner he counts as an allrounder so when the team has shakib, 3 pacers, riyad and naeem then they're playing 3 specialist bowlers, 1 allrounder and 2 part timers. they should make it 4 specialists (3 pacers, a spinner), 1 allrounder and whatever part timers happen to be in the team at the time.
selectors have been ignoring shuvo for awhile, i'm not sure what he has to do to get a call-up, they barely even call him up to the squads. they should at the very least acknowledge that he's in their thoughts by selecting him for squads more often. since he hasn't been selected very much i have to think that they aren't looking at him as a serious long term prospect.

correct. I wonder why? Shuvo should be tested sooner than later. He has done enough in all phases- U19 to NCL.

even australia are grooming a 2nd spinner these days. steve smith is getting lots of attention, being picked in squads, debuting in the t20. but now there is a bunch other other spinners making their move, saqlain is the obvious one but the likes of nasir hossain, shabbir rahman, noor hossain, mahmudul hasan, shaker ahmed are moving into the open age group teams and they've done well for u19s and whatever chacnes they've been given for the open teams.
