This is good news. At last amader bideshe khelte giye kono notun math open korte hocche na...

Playing 2 tests in England with the ball moving around an awful lot is going to be a good test and learning experience for our batsmen. ODI's against Australia will also be gr8. Overall, I'm looking forward to a tour where we will learn a lot, and fail badly.

wow.....
that is a great honour and respect for us. i think for the first time actually bangladesh got so much respect from a country for cricket. jaihok it is going to be a great opportunity for us. and looking at the venue and the opponents the outcome of the series might not be as good. but ofcourse it will not be a good idea if we focus on our results. we have to see the positives that we will be gaining by playing in this tournament. if our players play their best than and keep up a good fight then that is going to be our success. but the series is actuallly next year. so we have actually a year. so i am sure our team will actually be more experienced and we will have more stars by that time. atleast we will have some good pacers.

i dont know what u mean by divisions, but bulbul used to play minor counties, and bashar shouldn't have a problem getting into one of the major county teams.

Hopefully we will play a test match at Eden Garden when we tour India in April 2005, a month before the England Tour. So, a good solid performance against India in December will certainly make the Indian Cricket Board think about it.

Man, I am not going to miss this. LORDS!!
Yes. This time we need to really organise a la Barmy army. -

-First of all by end of the year lets get a head count on all probable attendees and then gradually a permanent list by next year.

-Get a ticker going to count the days to the match.

But ,as always everything is as we say, inshallah.

Bulbul only played club/league cricket in England. period.
And as for Habibul, he needs to find a major county first which will be willing to pay for his service.

Barmy Army= English fans on the road.

What should we call BD fans?
'Tiger's Army'?

Yeah 200SX..
I was certainly talking bout the VB series..Thats one triangular tournament I really want our team to participate in…simply because the teams are guaranteed to play at least 8 to 10 matches and with that many matches, a few of our players are bound to come up with some good shows…also the fact that in happens in Australia..we’ll get good media coverage and hype….

Wel I wouldn't be that much unfair to Bulbul... he was a sound and consistant batsman.. considered as one of our All-time-bests.
The difference between Bashar and Bulbul is definitely not as much as 3rd division & 1st divisions!(if there are any divisions like that in English county)..

But ofcourse... It wil be simply great if our current players can play in the top class of English county crickets..!
lets hope they earn that scope by their performance!
CHEERS!

Well Bashar may be scoring a lot of runs but I believe if Bulbul was given the same opportunity he would have been only second to Bashar in scoring runs for our country…He had the most sound technique of all our Batsmen….And a young Bulbul is a lot better batsman than Bashar and a lot more predictable too…..Bulbul for instance would never ever play a reckless shot of the very first ball…I have nothing against Bashar but Bulbul was one heck of a class player and I would rather watch a young Bulbul playing classy shots than Bashar bashing the balls….Say if we had gotten the Test status in 1995 or there about then people who haven’t seen Bulbul at his best would have been able to see him in full cry…thank you..

Well Shehwar Bulbul was given the chance and he wasted it. That's why he was kicked out of the team in the first place. Personally, I believe that the difference between Bulbul and Bashar IS indeed equivalent to the difference between 3rd and 1st divisions.
