He will say they will do better next tour, and Basher will say it is a learning curve

With Flintoff in the side to make it balanced, England are a very good one day team. So with Australia as well I think Bangladesh should be aiming to compete.

You will certainly have to improve the bowling because if you bowl like you did at Durham you will be smacked all over for about 360 if England/Australia bat 1st, Australia especially. Also, England have Pietersen, Flintoff and Geraint Jones who are all good big hitters.

i agree with rob...

as much i wud absolutely luv to have some upset...
honestly...we dont hv any chance....
our aim should be givin a good fight against the mighty aussies n what looks a really good english team....

but i still believe our main strength lies on batting...
if we bat first....(which we will be...cuz our captain never seems to win tosses..)...we need to put up some good runs...which always seems to work on our bowlers too...then we might give a good fight....

200+ per innings...getting 6/7 wickets...
im more than happy....

Yeah,, and who said we had a chance against India? Pakistan? Who knew Kenya can beat Srilanka and West Indies? ODIs are not tests,, one mistake and you dont have a second chance,, its a matter of few good knocks and restricting the runs,, which Bangladesh is not that far away from.

I am glad that just before the matches,,, Aftab and Basher got their form back ( or hope so) because they are they key ( not Nafis, Ashraful or Rajin). My worries is Rafiq not being able to bowl the line.

Strategically Bangladesh is a competing team as an ODI...because the players are all stroke makers and we know how to contain the runs, if not take wickets...Lets see how they do against Glamorgon/Derby... that will tell us a bit of their ODI capabilities in England.
