It might be a little early (ok, REALLY early), but I have a feeling Hom, this kid, Shakib, Mahmudullah and Tamim are all going to be a part of our first all-world national team 5 years from now...

Most important about this ASIF kid is that he scores consistently. Seems like he loves scoring and hungry to occupy the crease. None of his innings is a "boom boom" type. I like it.

BKSP 288/8 in 50 overs. Asif another 50. Imamul Hussain 58(55) and Tariqul Islam 50. Shoumya Sarkar and Ashiqul Alom each scored 36 runs.

BKSP Under 19s won their fourth match of the Pakistan tour when they beat Southend Club by 81 runs at Southend Club ground on April 22.
Winning the toss, BKSP decided to bat and scored 288 for 8 in 50 overs. There were a couple of fifties in that total with Imamul Hussain making highest 58 from 55 balls while Tariqul Islam and Asif Ahmed both scoring 50 runs. Shoumya Sarkar and Ashiqul Alom each scored 36 runs to give BKSP a challenging total.
In reply, Southend Club were bowled out for 207 in 41.4 overs. Mohammad Furkan took 3 for 31 while Zakaria Masud and Habibullah Talukdar took two wickets each.

Man, you guys have god gifted talent creating a mountain of mole.
I am sure this Asif guy is good but all these predictions, when god knows what the strength level of these teams is, are too much to bear.

Surely optimism isn't that agonizing, is it?
We all know that the competition isnt great. We're just having a laugh. Did you honestly think Rafi was seriously comparing him to Bradman?

KARACHI, April 30: Alnoor Gymkhana defeated Bangladdesh’s BKSP U-19 by 91 runs herein a T20 day-night match at Rashid Latif Academy on Thursday.
The BKSP eleven, which had remained unbeaten on the tour so far, tasted their only defeat after six straight wins.
Muhammad Waqas hit a fine 103 to guide his team to an imposing 171 for 8 in 20 overs. Besides Waqas, Ammar Hasan also played well for his 32.
In reply the tourists were bundled out for just 80 in 13.1 overs. Ashiq and Jashim scored 13 each. Abdul Latif Junejo was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts, taking four for 22.
After the match former Pakistan captain Moin Khan presented the souvenirs to the participating players and officials. On this occasion Former Test cricketer Jalaluddin, former first-class player Tariq Alam, Assistant collector customs Waqar Hussain, Amir Akram Khan, and Munir Qadri were also present.
BKSP cricket team flew home later on Thursday.
Summarized Scorecard: Alnoor Gymkhana 171 for 8 in 20 overs (M Waqas 103, Ammar Hasan 32; Mubarrak 3/18, Shoumya Sarkar 3/24) beat BKSP U-19 80 all out in 13.1 overs (Ashique-ul-Aalam 13, Jashimuddin 13; Abdul Latif Jujejo 4 for 22)

Asif and Anamul came back to join Academy team. Thats why they lost the last match i would say. But, overall a pretty good tour for the kids:~d

Asif Ahmed wasn't playing this match as he returned early to join the Academy. Alhamdulillah they have returned home safely. But it seems all our teams suck at T20.

Polapan gulau dekhi T20 khelte pare na.
Anyway, though not sure about the quality of opposition, but a good tour. Win is always good against any opposition.
