Default Is it time to drop Javed, Mahmud and Habibul?

I've not seen bangladesh play live from 1996. So, I really can't tell how bangladesh plays. But I follow posts, articles, and ofcourse, live commentary of cricket mostly from this site and cricinfo. From these, what I can gather is that these three players repeatedly failed to show their good form. I can remember last time Javed score well was against WI, the last series against them. Mahmud, you all know too well. May be Habibul is better compared to the other two. If he fails against Zimbabwe, do you think we should keep him in our team. How about the other two, Javed and Mahmud? If we leave out these three players next time then players like Rana will get to play all the time and show their good form Insh Allah, and Rana repeatedly showed good form, Alhamdulillah. In addition to that, we can get new promising players from our various domestic cricketing clubs. What's your view?

Till now I depend more on "irresponsible" Basher than "immature" Ash.

Some of us, the fans are too impatient when it comes to who is performing and not. I cant imagine why anyone would consider dropping Sumon. Unlike others, he is beyond form. Anytime he goes in a bad form, he bounces back. For him, scoring big is just around the corner, always.

To be honest, we only have 3 batsman in this team, that should be left alone. Thats Sumon, Ash and Pilot. We should never even bring up the topic of dropping them, not in next 3-4 years.

Very well said. Our bowlers (Rafiq, Taposh, Masraffee, Talha, Manjural) often outscore the other "so called batsmen". I hope Aftab will soon become a proper batsman.

Javed should not be dropped.

He is a batsmen that has experienced making a century and these players are much needed by bd.

If he can get going and get in to the 20's, 30's he is a man that usually goes on and scores big.

Right now selectors will not try any new face I guess. Lot of people think, the BD ODI and test cap is cheap. Among the old faces Alok, Rokon, Tushar Imran have more chance to get a call. I would love to see Shahrier Nafis in the BD ODI team at some point during Zimbo tour.

Are you crazy? Drop Bashar? You gotta be kidding me.

We Need both Bashar and Javed in Tests. Mahmud will be dropped after 3-4 years for sure. But lets stick to Javed and Bashar for at least 5-6 years more unless our inexperienced batsmen become experienced.
