I would have liked to see Md. Sharif in the team even if it meant as a 12th man carrying drinks. His belated return to the domestic circuit has been largely a successful one. It is beyond controversy that our board screwed up his medical rehab royally. This was, after all a test cricketer- at a pioint in time when we only had about 15-20 of them under our belt. His injuries should have been tended to immediately-not 1 year later. Perhaps the board feels that this 'embarrassment' should simply fade away... But, this is no Younis Ahmed. I think Sharif has the heart and the skills to keep on knocking loudly at the antechamber of international cricket. We need to be big enough to peer through the peep hole and not pretend that no one is home.

I agree.I have always preferred Sharif over Talha. I do not know why he is not getting a call. May be the selectors will see Talha for few more matches and then call Sharif.

Javed is replacing Rajin today in the middle-order, and Masri is replacing Mushfiq. I am hoping for something big today. All the best to the players.
