Billah,
You haven't done justice with what could've been BD's hall of fame and got carried away with negativity.
Ganguly dragging a ball onto his stumps is NOT a hall of fame for BD but an aberration for ganguly.
India were never on "verge of defeat", if i understand that term. Final outcome not withstanding.
Here is what you could've indeed added as hall-of-fame:
- BD restricting India to 205/6 by the end of 47th over.
- Getting Ganguly, Sachin and Yuvraj out before 50 on board.
- Higly effective slogging by Khaled-brothers even if in a lost-cause.
- Not letting India run away with the game despite a big partnership between Dravid and Kaif
- Coming back from 3-down for less than fifty to reach 230+

- Bashar's 65
- Pilot's wicketkeeping

I didn't add it because it was already there. I just mentioned what should've ALSO been in the hall-of-fame and what should NOT have been.

Bringing india on the verge of defeat. Could have been done. 9 an over for the last 10 overs is easily gettable.

I vote for Bashar's captain's knock.
The partnership between Bashar and Aftab, took India on the verge of defeat.
Sadly, Aftab was not matured enough to bring it to the end, till then BD firmly was in the game.
Rajin and Mushfique did the rest for BD's departure.
If it's not BD playing against India, the match surely gone to others.
Anyway we are in learning process, so like see more and more these kind of close matches.

Easily gettable?? How many times a chasing team have won by scoring 90+ runs in last 10 overs?
