Hi guys, this is my ratings of the current Top 5 Bangladeshi batsmen and Bowlers:
BATSMEN:
1.Mohammad Ashraful

Thats my views and what do you think? By the way in terms of history in batting I would include Bashar but not on current form. Thanx

what is your "rating system" based on ? and what may those ratings actually be ?

i think you're talking about a list of favorites here ...

here are mine:

batsmen:

1. Md. Ashraful Matin (talent, technique).
2. Alok Kapali (talent, technique).
3. Tamim Iqbal Khan (talent).
4. Mushfiqur Rahim and Raquibul Hasan Nirala (technique, temperament).
5. Aftab Ahmed Chowdhury and Junaid Siddique (talent).

bowlers:

1. Md. Rafique (superior intelligence, gumption, tenacity).
2. Mashrafe Bin Murtaza (talent, gumption, tenacity).
3. Enamul Haque Jr. (talent, intelligence, tenacity).
4. Shahadat Hossain Rajib (talent, gumption, tenacity).
5. Abdur Razzak (intelligence, gumption, tenacity).

Batsmen :

Md Ashraful (phenomenal talent)
Tamim Iqbal (superstar in the making)
Aftab Ahmed (devastating when he's on)
Mushfiqur Rahim (SHOULD bat up the order)
Shahriar Nafees (much more than merely a minnow-muncher)

Bowlers :

Mashrafee Mortaza (a real Tiger)
Md Rafique (zealous and enthusiastic ; warrior)
Enamul Haq Jr (talented ; potential match-winner)
Abdur Razzak (consistent contributor)
Syed Rasel (he's a charmer)

The One I respect THE MOST :

Sakib Al Hasan (what a discovery for BD cricket ; true cricketer)

There is nothing new to say about Kapali, the all time most fortunate player of Bangladesh, so I'm not surprised to see him on many places, but ...

I think a lot of people are over rating Tamim Iqbal. Mind it, the only thing he did so far was to smash a wayward indian bowling, in one innings.

I hope that half century of his does not become the 89* of Kapali, on which he ride on for ever and ever. It is still grooming time for Tamim and we need to make sure he is not flying.
