Default Are we secured enough to play IN pakistan?

The way bombing is happeing almost everyday in pakistan i am really concerned for Bangladesh Team to go and play there. Bombing in Residential hotels and restaurant is happening on a daily basis. A few days ago i saw a news report on Channel I about the Bombing Attack in a restaurant of foreigners in Pakistan. I think BCB should talk to PCB the clear the security issues. Prothom-Alo also have an article about this. Guys read it please. here is the link...

Well, we need to let the radicals know that this is the only game muslims are dominating. And this is a game played wearing Islamic attire and therefore can be played in heavens! So it is a kind of Islamic game. That might deter some of the zealots who explode their way to heavens....

good luck with that.

honestly, i think our players will be fairly safe. they need to avoid any place which does not have security out the wazoo. just go to hotel, stadium, thats it. short tour, no need to go see this or that.

i'm sure some of our guys are namaji, and prolly all of them go to jummah prayers. no need to go to some random mosque on fridays either. they should just make their own jamaat in the hotel or prayer 2 rakat qasr dhuhr namaaz.

I think they'd be fairly safe.
Just stick yourself to your five star prison.

We went to Srilanka when their condition was worse than Pakistan.

Did we have any problem?

Who else except Allah can give the security? We went to Pak in 2003. That time it was not apparently safe. We went to Lanka many times. Did we have any problem?

Which in all honesty they will. I don't see any reason why we should really think Bangladesh can win in Pakistan. Maybe they can sneak a win. But that's about all they are capable of. Bangladesh cannot win consistently if they don't change their attitudes, simple as that.

When our team went to Zimbabwe in their last tour of Africa, situation was even much worse, at one point, BCB did not have any contact with the team.
Even though PCB gave all sorts of guarantees for security, Pakistan situation is still a cause of concern.
PCB is using BD as a pawn, to show the world that they have no security problem.
All's well that ends well. Hope our boys will come back safe and well.

I say we take some blow-up dolls to dummy their suicide bombers.

negative + negative = positive, isnt it?

I thought the equation was:

negative * negative = positive ; no?

unless Bangladesh team is leading 2-0, we are safe to that point.. and besides, there are many Bengalis ( They are not Bangladeshis) in Karachi.. where the risk is the most, and I dont think they are interested in blowing up little kids!!

Breaking News

Our Physio Andrew Lifson doesn't want to go to Pakistan with the team. He's written a letter to the board. South African Embassy has warned all the South Africans not to tour this country at this moment. Thus he has taken this decision. Besides that he said when he was with the Pak team, things wasn't this worse and he's scared. He doesn't want to take the risk.

Hmm, I thought Akram and Durjoy were selectors ! Learning something new everyday.

Anyway, best of luck to our Biriyani Boys, I hope they handle their new duties well ...

Default Bangladesh team is a suicidal one itself!!!

Guys, aren't you missing the obvious?

Bangladesh team it self is full of suicidal batsmen, do suicide bombers dare come near them? I don't think so...

On a serious note, I don't believe Pakistani suicide bombers would intentionally target these harmless Bangladeshi cricket players....they ain't worth it.

But how about our two taklu Aussie coaches (Siddons and Williams) ? As you can see Lifson is already refusing to go to Pakistan.
