He wouldn't come. We don't have clubs to his standard. Pubs and white trash girls (those are the kinds he goes after) in every corner. Without these his performance goes down.

He didn't wanted to come as a player. When he thought he could get cheap wickets he came and got a thrashing of a lifetime. Wicketless 100+ runs in an innings by the fat boy. Then pulled iQuit long before YK even thought about it.

See that's the kind of poor attitudes that are annoying.

It is not players fault, give them the right environment and an efficient process you will see where they go. But the trouble is the BCB has been an incompetent organisation since Macky Dudia left as the CEO.

go figure...

Not really, the only game in which Eng was in a bit of discomfort was the 1st test, the rest were won convincingly and with ease. 2nd test by 329 runs, all ODIs by 7 wickets.
But if you meant their batting, that is a different issue, with their highest being 326 in 4 innings.

I was never really a fan of Shane Warne for some reason...

Still he is a Master! As Mike Atherton calls him - The Magician!!!

I didn't use to like him until 2005 Ashes series. But after seeing his brilliance with the ball- I became a great fan of him. But I am not saying that as a person he is a good man.

we were not even an ODI team at that time. do you remember the ease with which canada defeated that ODI team? our under 19 team would have throttled the BD team that lost their first 3 wickets in three balls against SL...

the point is, if SA - who just mauled India by an INNINGS, struggled in their first innings on tour, why does england think they can leave out their captain, and one other key player and cruise to victory?

if england can draw a series against SA, we can make them suffer in BD.

If ENG drew against Saffies who just mauled IND, and IND just mauled us wouldn't it mean that ENG wouldn't have that much of a problem beating us?

well we bowled out India in the first innings for 232 runs, while SA bowled out India in the first innings for 233 runs, wouldn't that mean our bowling attack is better?

that kind of logic doesn't work. you win game based on how you perform in the match. just because BD lost 10 matches on a row straight doesn't guarantee that will lose the 11th match. and vice versa.

No it doesnt work that was the point of my post. Test matches aren't won based upon 1st innings only. No, it doesn't but we havnt really won any test bar WI F team, have we? Our cricket is like lottery. Be realistic and don't hope to get pat on the back for nothing.

Haha, brilliant, its his googly..he's hoping England now lose or stuff up a match, preferrably a test, then strauss would be losing sleep about this and with Ashes just around the corner, Warne couldn't have said this at a better time.

We shelve the batsmen's stupidity, and make a fairly spinning track, we're in business.
The pacers are in the form of their life almost.

Do you forget India's only an hour or two away? Its got all the white trash girls he needs, except half of them are tanned. I'm sure they worship him whenever he goes to India..I'm only talking about the rich minority, but its still a lot of them..

For all his other failings, Shane Warne knows cricket. England at home are our most likely wins ...

I think in order to beat them, we need to have some sort of strategy or plan to fool them. The best way to do this is to make the pitch unpredictable, and have variation, bounce and spin. Of course there is a risk for falling into own trap, but I do not see us winning against England in a flat batting pitch.
And I am disappointed that Rubel has not used his slinging action to create angle against left handers by bowling from the other side of the wicket yet. This is a valuable asset for a bowler who has slinging action
