Weather forecast isn't good at all. Yahoo weather predicts thunderstrom for the 2nd ODI and scattered thunderstorm for the 3rd ODI

You can not beat Aussi with Fast Bowler, only possible with spinner.

You need first bowlers to wear off the new ball. Without it ball doesn't turn much. I am not sure medium pacers like Aftab & Saqibul can do that job. I will be very glad to see saqibul in the team. Not sure dropping Ashraful is the answer, because except Basher everybody struggled against slow bowlers. Aftab/Rajin/Ash------one should make the way for saqib.
Leave that task to aussie openers. They will take away the shine of new ball to spin more.

Apart from jokes, I thought sireza has a very innovative proposal. While our pacers can get hammared in that fashion, why should not we try with left arm spinners and batting alrounder? It's definitely a worth of try. I really would love to see it for a game.

Can someone open a new thread to attract our think tanker's attention? :p

Ash will still be in the team and Alok will come in Tushar's place. That's the only change for the 2nd ODI. IMHO

Aussie will win by 150 runs or three wkts this time because of our pacers' offform and stupid top order.

Does anyone remember the ICC Champions trophy that was held in Sri Lanka? Probably it was in 2002 where Australia struggled against the Lankan slow bowlers in the final match which was a day-night affair. This is not the only example, the Aussies struggled a lot against the slow bowlers specially in the subcontinent.

Considering that we should use Aftab in the next matches as a bowler, which should have done in the first one but its our stupid captain and the mighty coach. Our pacers need to make the best use of the opportunity, they can work with the new ball, can bowl cleverly. Pace bowling its not all about bowling in a high speed, it about using the ball. A lot of things involved like giving a slower ball all in a sudden making the batsman fool, changing the bowling end, changing the side of the wicket etc. We need to work out on these matters. But bowling have been pretty good in the first match we need to make sure we give our bowlers a handy amount of runs to defend with. Pray our batsmen can do that on wednesday.

that video sounds like "way to go Bangladesh", but the title of the video kinda make you think it "waaaaKe up Bangladesh". I guess the person who posted the video knows what was said...

At least one of the pacers, Mashrafe, Rasel or Shahadat is required to be in the team for the 2nd ODI. The pacers did help scalping a few wickets with the new ball in the first test. It also depends on the pitch too, what would happen if the spin turns innocuous on the wicket! At least a varying combination of pace-spin may unsettle one or two great Aussies batsman to cause an important breakthrough!!

Alright, time for pitch report and weather forecast. Can anyone update??
What should we do after winning the toss (which Bashar will do definitely). Since bowling is our strength, we definitely need to bat first.

At last Ashraful was dropped. Alhamdulillah!
On pen and paper this could be the best team that we can have. After this if our batsmen falter again, I will be so much mad.

Go BD go....

However, my prediction about the team became true. Ash & Rasel are dropped and Alok & Rajib are in. It really looks like best possible team right at this point.

Wish Bangladesh to win both the matches.
