Hmm!! BD with new team

Hi all,

A long time of silence from me....actually I wanted to (And still I am trying to) balance my emotion after the questionable/Heart-breakable/expectable performance of BD team in world cup. As a matter of fact this WC didn't satisfy me at all. Somehow I kinda missed the real action & beauty of a WC cricket.

BD once again is trying to raise it's hope with a new 'kandari'. Sujon is good, experienced...at least he can use the best of 'the bowlers rotation'. He is patient...the way he concentrated to place himself inside the team after disragarded by the selectors is really admirable. I think he has the capability to motivate his team member.

I think that Opee would be a better choice to open and Golla to play at three.

It is simply because Opee is somewhat weaker against spin (particularly leg spin) than Golla.

And besides, Golla has been playing at number four in this season's domestic cricket.

If only Ash and Kapali could grow more as bowlers...we would have a lot more options...

I definitely believe that we should not pack our team with batsmen rather have a balanced bowling and batting attack. Let the top order batsmen do their job...we should not have to cussion their failure every time and slog out our poor bowlers...we should keep playing 3 seamers per every match and get the culture of good pace bowling firmly established...pace bowling requires fitness and that can only mean good for our players and future wannabes

But I think Kapali has some mental thing for batting at five. Whenever he has played at number 5 position, he has not looked like the batsman that we all know him to be.
