No international player, including our Nasir received a single penny from Cricket Canada for the 12th May game. Moreover they had to pay for the plane fare and the hotel bill. The organizers checked out of the hotel room yesterday leaving the players stranded in the hotel lobby. Can you believe it ???? What a shame!!!! Many of the players already left Canada without payment....... Canadian Broadcasting Corporation(CBC) reports...Take a look at the video below !!! The only positive from this video is that it contains that nice catch of Nasir dismissing Jacob Oram at 02:27 minutes.

I suppose after the BPL and his international matches, Nasir isn't strapped for cash (unlike some of the retired or near-retired players who turned out in the Toronto T20) but it must really suck not to get paid after going through all that expense and effort going to Canada.

once again Nasir was brilliant today.
took a very good catch towards the end.
scored runs in quick time, with a SR near 200.
If Ryad could do it from the other end this match was ours.
I am so proud of him, dont know what is so good that makes him perform so consistently.
Love the way he runs the first one hard to convert singles into doubles
I think he is street smart as a batsman/cricketer, reads the situation well,very good shot selection.

Much respect to this fellow. As far as I have seen him, he has never been good at middling the ball (that doesn't diminish his brilliance as a cricketer). But he is very good at amassing runs quickly. In T20 games, he should play at No. 4 (in cases where it is essential to build innings). When big hitting is at stake, I don't think it is wise to send him to the fore. People seem to forget that often in T20 games, you need someone like Nasir who may not be a big hitter but deft in safe paddling of the scoreboard. He thus is, and will be, an essential feature of the T20 team.

Riyadh has evolved into a conservative cricketer. Neither innovative nor classical enough. Who would forget his brilliant test innings against NZ...he resembled to master Jayawardene during that innings. We don't need him as a finisher in the T20 team when the likes of Nasir and Mushfiq are there.

that's what we expected from Nasir !! But Riyad is not a T20 player.. oh wait we don't have any good T20 player in the team.. had high hopes on Zia but disappointed !! Story of BD team !!
