Nearly flawless postgame interview by Mushy. It was to the point.
1) Fielding decision is pormpted by a expectation that that there will be assistance from pitch
2) Our bowlinmg was poor
3) There were a few "hiccups" in the fielding
4) WI played well
Note that there is nothing said about our batting. So, he is satisfied with 250-260 score provided we do better when fielding. I wonder what is refering with respect to fielding "hiccups".

40+ dot balls played by Naeem, chasing a big total to get that was rubbish .

No offense. But I never like it when Kalpurush opens the MTs, there is just something so... dark about him.

No offense but 47 dot balls by Naeem was seriously painful esp. when chasing a big total such as 299. Well anyways. He got a 50 but shouldn't have given THAT MANY DOT BALLS. Hope to see Kayes-Tamim combination in the next match after all that is our best opening pair no doubt. Today's one was an experiment by Law/Mushy. But it didn't work. And playing with 3 pacers should be a Wise idea. Alok shouldn't be dropped. Donno about Sir Ash.

Why we lost the game:
1.It was never ever a 300 wicket.Wicket was slow. Our bowlers totally failed to restrict WI and probably they were 40-50 runs ahead.
2.Naeem was too slow at the starting,he was covering well but got out in a bad time during batting powerlay.
3.We played very poor in the batting powerplay.Lost 3 wickets at that time and totally failed to accumulate the runs during the batting power play.
4.Not only Naeem Tamim was also very slow today. When Tamim got out we needed him very much to chase such a big total.
*I dont know why Naeem was sent to open the innings.IMO it was better to open with IMRUL.It was better to send Naeem at #3.

Imrul was off the field during the bowling so he had to wait 15 minutes before he could come out to bat.. which is why naeem was sent

No Naeem in Top-order. He is best at lower middle order but he can be tried at the top order in test match.

lets face it... he is crap in lower order because he wastes balls...and has done nothing in the last two years in that lower order position. So people were screaming to promote him because he is supposedly a top order player... now he has played a crap test innings in the top order as well where at one stage he was 19 off 50 balls chasing a target of 292 with power play going on and never looked settled during the 25 overs he stayed at the crease. What is the next excuse?

Putting naaem at the top order was a mistake as the poor boy was intimated by the new ball.
Why include Hashraful and alok kapali.

so before blaming law!!!
read this!!!
Quote:

lol and here I thought our management was actually trying something different. Even than Nayeem had no excuse not to rotate the strike. He had more than enough time to settle in. All he had to do is rotate the strike no one's asking for him to hit 4s and 6s.

Your right. Let Naeem bat where he used to bat. And Kayes-Tamim opening pair shouldn't be tweaked. They're one of our very best opening pair. Kayes & Tamim will open in the next match hopefully.

So the blame goes to Nayeem not Law....however, law should be blame for not sending a message when nayeem was on his nap.

Disagree about Imrul, he looks good when he's set, as in vs England, Aussies, etc for instance.

Naeem was sent in as a bloody NIGHTWATCHMAN because Imrul couldn't open. First ask the team think-tank what role Naeem was assigned - and you'll be shocked to know he performed his responsibility rather well. Despite the dot balls.

47 DOT balls is simply not acceptable when you are chasing such big totals.
