1: Tamim - 6.5 -
scored 50 in both innings but after been given 4 lives you don't simply give catches straight to the fielder (if it was Ahsraful people would have torn him apart, tamim can consider himself lucky)
2: Imrul - 0000
Uselss pola - he should be dropped from the test team immediately 11 matches avg 12 (chichi), even Ashraful could have scored a 50 given that many chances.
3: Junaid 5
he was unlukcy in the 2nd innings - he is becoming a good player, a score of 30+ both innings not bad
4: Riyahd - 3 -
he should try to stay at the crease longer and stop thorwing away his wicket after 50s
5: J. Islam - 2.5 -
he looked ok, not bad, deserves more chances
6: Shakib - 6 -
he should stop overusing him, also please drop the captaincy baba, tomar dhare shombhob noi. 9 for batting, 6 for bowling but 0 for captaincy.
7: Mushfiq - 2
failed
8: Naeem Islam - 3.5
He showed great determination and temperament in the 1st innings but guess Ash is not the only man suffering from "brain fart" (naeem and tamim too)
9: Shafiul - 2.0 - well played for his 50 but he sucked in his primary role
10: Rubel - 3.5 - was unlukcy with a few decisions but try to learn quick from his mistakes
11: Rajjak - 0000
I hope ICC finds his action illegal and kicks him out for good

ekmot. He is a genuine chucker and looked out of touch last 2 years except some fluke performence(Eng). His average against top team in ODI is 40 plus now a days he is leaking a lot of runs in crucial situation.

This precisely points out where the problem lies (it's the attitude). A gets 6.5 for batting for 155 balls and for scoring 137 runs, and B gets 6 for batting for 370 balls and scoring 155 runs (despite being wrongly given out in 1 innings and running out of batting partners in the other), even if you forget B's bowling figure of 74-27-155-4. why on earth would A want to occupy the crease and play hard cricket in the heat when hitting a few fours quickly makes him the hero, as well as saving his *** from the heat?

B wasn't wrongly given out in the first innings, you are talking about the 1st test, he was dead plumb. It's just his personal opinion, you can rate the players as you wish. Even though yeah B deserves more points than A, but B as the captain shouldn't have given up. A eventhough got 4 chances gave a straightforward catch to Mr.Baywatch, so maybe he deserves less points but then again A is loved by all, he is allowed to make silly mistakes. Then again if C makes mistakes he should be sacked and is suffering from "brain farts"

B(3 duties)
Batting-7
Bowling-7
leading-3
bonus for allround performence-1
Total- 18 which is divided by his 3 duties.
18/3=6; B's final ranking
--------------------------------------------------------
A has only one duty. So he gets 6.5 which is lesser than B's batting ranking(7)

It was wrong to bring Razzak in the test knowing that he had a horrible test average. Since he proved it again, we should definitely not consider him in the upcoming tests.

If you guys have problems with Shakib's captaincy, why don't you guys suggest another option?

Steve Waugh had once said, "it's the easiest job to captain australia and it's the most difficult job to captain bangladesh", simply because the captain of bangladesh does not have some of the best bowlers to turn to or some of the best batsmen at his disposal.

Sure, Shakib made a few mistakes. But don't forget that he has not been at this job for long and don't forget the positives that came from him. If you want to judge his captaincy, it would be more appropriate to compare the overall achievement under Sakib's captaincy with that under others (e.g. Ashraful etc.)

Another problem with your rating system is that, a player should get credit for his additional services, not penalized for it. After 2 days marathon bowling in the heat, he needed to put additional efforts for batting. So, it's utterly unfair to average the 2 efforts instead of adding them. He should get additional credit for taking the burden of captaincy, instead of getting penalized for it.

As far as A is concern, a lot of more runs and a lot longer crease occupation is expected from him, as he is playing only as a batsman and has no other burdens. When he falls short of this expectation, he deserves to be rates accordingly

People who criticise shakib's capitancy shoul compare his capitancy with cook then make a judgment .

I agree with Bond from X-Men and Ice cream man. As a captain, Shakib can only be good with the resources at his disposal and so far, taking the overall picture into account, he's doing a good job.

Naeem islam : ZERO for his brain farth
Really disappointing stuff from him : he has bats so well throughout this test series , he was the most calm batsmen I really don't know what going on his mind today

Tamim: 4
- Sorry, I don't give a crap that he wants to play his natural game... this is test cricket, and that kind of batting does not belong... he can be so much better than this, and we need to stop encouraging this kind of play. If it wasn't for some crazy good luck (in both innings), his scores would have been really pathetic.

Shakib: 7
- Would have been 9 if it wasn't for the brain-farts that ended both his innings... but damn, he continues to give his all to the game, and keeps getting let down by the idiots around him (teammates, umpires, grounds people, BCB...). Well deserved MoM.

Junaid: 6
- Finally showing some confidence and playing some decent shots. Bit unlucky to get out in the second innings, but he's showing good signs of improvement.

Imrul: -10
- Don't care if his second innings dismissal was unlucky... epic fail x 4 = please, get this guy off the test team.

Razzak: 0
- Sigh. Really really not a test bowler.

Mushy: 4
- Nothing new to say here. We need a new keeper, and Mushy needs to bat at #3 or #4 (yeah, really).

Johurul: 3
- Granted he was nervous on debut, but he doesn't really seem very special to me. His shots smelled of desperation. Very tail-ender-ish.

Rubel: 5
- He wasn't too bad, I guess. Not as expensive as the first test, so something positive to take from that, I guess.

Shafiul: 6
- +3 points for the batting alone. Bowling was meh.

Riyad: 5
- Needs to show more consistency

Naeem: -5
- What he did in the second innings completely undid my image of him as a test batsman and is just unforgivable in my book. Did we lose the match because of him? No, but a lot of our hopes of pulling off a draw rested with him, and I personally would have been okay if he had gotten out to a good ball... but that shot was like a slap in the face. I literally sat here with my mouth gaping for half a minute and then did a ... brain-fart of the series!

Tamim- 6.5, got scores in both innings but should have went on to get at least 1 century.
Imrul- 0, should be dropped from Test squad.
Zunaed- 5, made starts and looked solid in both innings, didn't give wicket away.
Johurul- 3.5, duck and dropped a fairly simple catch 1st innings, made a contribution in difficult circumstances in 2nd innings.
Riyad- 4, batted well 1st innings but got out cheaply in 2nd under pressure. Bowling wise average.
Shakib- 7.5, bowled well, batted well but made some poor decisions as captain.
Mushy- 3.5, got a start in 1st innings but gave wicket away cheaply at an important. time in 2nd innings, made 2 good stumpings.
Nayeem- 4, batted well 1st innings but made a crucial mistake in 2nd, didn't offer anything when bowling.
Rajjak- 2, bowled poorly throughout, shouldn't be in Test squad.
Shafiul- 4, batted very well in 1st innings and made a contribution in 2nd innings, didn't bowl well in difficult conditions.
Rubel- 4, bowled well in first innings, robbed of 2 crucial wickets by the umpires.
