This Indian attack is toothless at its best. Why don't they consider Piyush Chawla? is it because he is from West Bengal like Ganguly, so a soar-eye for Dhoni?
Sharma gest Hussey, Tendy gets the catch.

"The rain" has stopped the match. I don't see/hear Olivia any way near the ground? She still a show stopper? (BK where are you?)

Not yet. If Pak beat Australia, all Ind has to do is beat WI to pulp. Else Aus beat/draw against Pak, it would be all over for Ind.

If India has to play only 20 overs they will have to make a mere 153, a typical T20 score. Chances are mild as the rain is falling torrentially heavy. Lets pray for the return of Olivia after the match ends.

With this Olivia interruption things went really messy for Eendia.

Okay, lets clear the air. People have misread the post at 18.40. First of all, IF this match is abandoned Pakistan are through.

This is with reference to my earlier comment: "So that means for India to go on they will have to beat West Indies, Pakistan will have to beat Australia, and even then India's net run rate will have to be good for them."

The rain gives us a "reason" for why we failed to qualify !!

India does not look half the team that we had before the IPL this year !

Ishant seems burnt out ..Bajji needs to be out of the team ASAP ..and ofcourse we need Zaheer,Shewag and Yuvraj.

Nothing to panic as yet ..but

India got a 2nd chance, otherwise they would have been busy packing their bags. will Pakistan save their a$$?

What will we do in the the tournament with the drama queen team exit again so early?

After Ryder, now Tuffey is ruled out from NZ 11.
Butler is going to be the replacement who is also not well.
Now the real test for Vettori, where is the fan?

India played very bad yesterday against Australia yesterday. I have doubt whether they had any game plan or not. Definitely they had but India need to improve a lot if they want the trophy. Make sure of semi final at first.

Miandad has took a step ahead this time to add to the ODI debate more controversy by speaking his heart out. Whether it was S-E-X or their limited agility, India's demise and possible exclusion might have forced the Pak director to make such comment.

Quote:
the former captain and current director of the Pakistan board, has termed the pitches used in the ICC Champions Trophy as "dangerous" and said they will adversely affect interest in one-day cricket.

"[With] the sort of scary pitches they have prepared for such a big event it is not going to help the ICC or its members keep interest in one-day internationals alive," Miandad said. "Some of the pitches they have played on can be ranked as dangerous. The bounce is inconsistent. Balls are kicking up from a good length. All this is not good for the survival of ODIs.

"People want to see fast-paced cricket and lots of runs and excitement and that is lacking generally in this tournament because of the inconsistent nature of pitches."
The funniest part of his comment is about the scarcity of runs which is actually in a plenty in all of the matches except the Lanka-English affair where it was completely the failure of the Lankan top order, creadit not taken from Anderson and Co though.

The other rational reason for him making such comment might be the English capitalization which is a common demeanor for sub-continental fans. HHS.

England skittled out for paltry 146 runs in the 44th over.
Good day for the fan, where she/he is?

With four catches, and quick fire 50 he may be MoM. Elliot and Bond had 7 wickets in between them.

NZ wants it to make it interesting. Is this a collapse that we saw against the Wanderers in the warm up match?
