I think it's a deliberate ploy by the WICB not to have a strong captains. Guys like Sammy, Russel, Pollard and Gayle were not easily manipulated and intimidated. They are wasting Holder, who could've been a force of nature in any other side. It's a wonder that Windies still produces competitive performances despite having a complete Sh*tshow as their cricket board.

I am in agreement with you regarding Mushfiq. But people are allowed to, and can have, different perspectives and opinions. Above all, let's express these opinions in respectful and civil way.

What's the management trying to achieve by playing ODI on such unfriendly wicket? Some easy rating points against WI? From 2020, current ODI ranking system won't matter anyway.
With WC around the corner, we need to get used to play high scoring matches on flat wickets. Bowlers need to learn how to restrict runs on such wickets, as well as batsmen need to learn to trust their instincts and play more aggressively.
With Hathuru gone, it does not look like anyone is thinking about those strategic preparation plans anymore (I don't miss his drama with players, but starting to miss his brain for strategic thinking).
We played well... The bowling is very accurate and didn't let the WI batsmen free their arms. Our batting was care free as we were chasing a small target. This was a 260-270 pitch at least

I don't think I am referring to the respectful and civil ones mate 😁 I am referring to the nonsensical and unwarranted opinions.
The pitch was generating plenty of uneven bounce during WI innings, which assisted the bowlers a lot. Mortaza knew how exactly to take advantage of this pitch.
I have not seen BD innings. I am assuming the ball was coming easier to our batsmen due to dew?
No team in the world makes this sort of unsporting wickets for LOI anymore. But I guess BCB have not got the memo.

Having looked at the dismissals from both innings... I don't think the pitch had much to do with the result. WI just came short in terms of pacing the innings and got out mostly to release shots. Their dot ball count was extremely high. A quality batting side would've easily added another 100 runs on the board.the wicket was a bit slow and they couldn't adjust to it..
I want a beeter pitch next game.
We were lucky to bat 2nd.
Looks to me like a 240ish wicket.
This is a BPL wicket where you score 120 and defnd it, lol
