I have a same kind of feeling. If any one of the top order from A team does well in Windies he will be considered before Ash.On the othe hand we already have 3 batting allrounder who are better than Kapali.

Looks like Sarwar is expecting too much too early. He should be happy being assistant coach to foreign coaches. He might be thinking that he knows it all ... Wasn't he supposed to be coaching in Malaysia? He is hard working and sincere... He has tried to always help the players.... But I don't think he should be a head coach at any of the levels... National, A Team or Academy Team.... May just be age groups.....

Ideally I would have loved to see Elias Sunny in the team. This boy needs foreign exposures.

Sorry to say but Sarwar was recently in charge of the fast bowlers after Champayka and before Pont arrived in 2010 (7 months) and did NOTHING, then again after Pont left and before Jurgensen arrived (6 months) and again did NOTHING. The bowlers have gone backwards each time he has had a chance. He is meant to be bowling coach for the Pace Bowling Institute yet as successive coaches have said, the expected basics of line and length haven't even been taught.

I'm all for our own BD coaches getting opportunities but this is not a charity. They have to be good enough. Sarwar clearly isn't.

This Sarwar Imran is almost a permanent coach of the A team.Under him performance of A teams is just horrible. He have little control on the team and captain.
A team tour arranged to give exposure of our players in internatioak level. In last A team tour to SN captain Ash totally suppersed Nasir.Captain himself bowled a lot and did not give Nasir minimum exposure to show him. What he have done againt Ash as a coach? This Sarwar Imran is a sure crap he has no control one the team.Performance of our A team is just horrible under his coaching.

Also hoping for Mominul to do well. We desperately need more batsmen raising their hands up. He just had a great tour against SA Academy team in SA. So looking forward to him doing well against the WI A team bowlers.

If i exclude one or two player issue,This A team is looking a well thought team with some good players.Last time our A team played against WI at Dhaka was a real poor one.I hope this time they will cover the gap and show some sign of improvement.

Eagerly waiting to see A team in action.Lot of players to follow, almost every player to follow. As we have deficiency is upper order bathing and pace department in the national team so they will get special attention.
Now i have a question why are we plaing the FC first? Was not it better to play the limited over first, get aclimatized then give the special fight in FC?

I totally agree....

it's a trend in international cricket that I find puzzling.

And only one addition to the WIndies A squad for the second 'Test'....

http://www.windiesfans.com/forums/vi...p=23802#p23802

Barbadian batsman Shamarh Brooks is added, but the non-performing youngsters (Corbin, Carter, Chandrika and Thomas) keep their places.
