Well played NZ. Williamson is just tearing it apart. Fine form. 242 notout. What a way to start the 2015 season.
In 4 years, he has over 3k runs.

this is a Test match Srilanka will want to forget, lost from a winning position after Sanga's double.
Kane is a super player.

When did Kane become so good ? Wow. Can't believe we swept this Kiwi side only a few years ago. Most of the names were still there.

Great to see Beamer back in action!

KW is a top batting talent. He is tipped to be NZ's all time best, and its easy to see why. The guy has scored runs everywhere, in all conditions. In the last year or so he's kicked it up a notch. I remember very recently saying that Kiwi bats don't really score big tons even when they do. And since then BMac has hit a triple, and KW has gone past 150 3 or 4 times. Ridiculous form.

Yup. I'm really big fan of Kane. He's one of the reasons why NZ has been so good. Really hope he continues to play the way he has.

NZ all of a sudden has one of the better Test lineups. Latham is young but promising, obviously they got McCullum and Taylor. Watlings also a solid batsman. They've finally gotten a batting lineup that can really challenge some of the top teams imo

Kane on track to be NZ's all time best bat and they've got Taylor who could possibly be their 2nd best and McCullum isn't too bad, Latham is very promising and watling has done well also.

Thanks Al ! I think I will stick around a bit this time. Call it a New Years resolution ?

Yes, I am very impressed with the style that Kane bats with. Like him a lot. He was always talented, but the way he is scoring runs is very impressive. Same with Steve Smith. And, Of course, Kohli is proving that he is different than a lot of his other ex teammates. Great young bat.

i think most people are extremely pissed with this team and their shambolic performance throughout 2014 in general, i mean sure, most people would probably peek now and then...but a lot of people have given up(on the verge of giving up) except for a very select few like yourself.

There are a lot of notable names missing: ATMR, Miraz, Poorfan to name a few...

Not in nz but in Aus, spinners will be more handy if tjey can creat pressure. Main reason is because of the ground size which is around 60-70m(rare) in nz compare to Aus 80+m

Anderson might miss out on his 100 because sri lanka hasn't scored enough runs. Wow this got some power. Wonder wht plan we have for game vs nz in world cup.

He used to be able to bowl around 150 kph, injuries have stalled his progress.

Boult imo is probably one of the most exciting bowlers in the World atm.

Kiwi's do have an exciting team. Could be a force to be reckoned with in the WC.

Still can, if he's clocking 147-48 every over, that's not his effort ball. He can clock 150 at will. Looks all young quicks have the same problem, Cummins, Milne, Taskin. Can't stay healthy.

Happening to a lot of fast bowlers these days, Pattinson having trouble also. Noticed a lot of hamstring injuries as well, not specifically with fast fast bowlers but generally in cricket, just of late Michael Clarke and also Mitch and Sean marsh have had hamstring problems.
