Default Will Sidney Crosby be a Bust?

There's way to much hype on him, It reminds me of all the Hype Lindros got. And then BAM! Scott Stevens gave just layed him out. He han't been the same after that. He plays scared and just avoids to get hit.

In my mind there are 2 kinds of Busts the Lindros kind and then the players who just suck.

If you think Sidney Crosby will be a bust then which kind the Lindros kind( Sometimes looks like the next Gretzky , sometime looks like he doesn't what he is doing ) or jsut a complete faliure.

I think that he is not overhyped. HE will be the next Lemiex. He already dominated the Major Junior Leagues. And he already plays for team Canada (or the Junior team at least).

It will be very tough to create another Lemieux. Crosby will be a greay player. I have no doubt about that. With the new rules on the ice (ignorring red line, small goalie equipments, shootouts etc), he can dominate with in few years. But Mario Lemieux I don;t thinks so.

Its not really a funny name...... But he plays ice hockey... he is one of the best prospects ever since Lemieux.

Also Ice Hockey is not some weird American world series sport... its not even american.... The world series is baseball.

If Gretzky was the Great One, then Crosby is the Next One. He has all the potential to be so. After racking up dream numbers as far as statistics go in the junior hockey, Sidney Crosby seems all set to take NHL by storm with his skill and poise.

BUT...lets just hope that the Penguins develop him properly.

He will grow under the tutelage of Lemieux. None better to take him under the wings. Also, addition of Recchi in our squad will help him as well. We have the second overall pick from last draft in Malkin ( the russian kid ) and offcourse Marc-Andre Fleury from year before. Pens will be great once again in a few years. The new CBA will help us immensely to sign some big name players. Pens are already way below the cap line beacuse of salary dumping of a few major players over the last few years. Jagr, Kovalev, Straka, lang no longer are with us. But a few of them may be unemployed and may come back to us...

He is a great player. I don't think he will be the next Lemieux or Gretzky. Just maybe a Jagr or Sakic. Though, I like to be proven wrong. Will see!
