Congrats BD Cricket team. The management finally coming to senses on discarding few players who were pulling the team back.

I dont think Ashraful, Alok's absence had anything to do with this win lets not fool ourselves. It was rather Shuvo and Nazmul who made the difference..The pitch was perfect for bowlers like Shuvo, Shakib, Nasir, who won the. match for us.. It was a death trap and we won due to our superb spin bowling. We dropped Ashraful and what did Nafees score?
I agree that Ashraful should've been only included in the Tests and not ODIs and that wouldve been the right message. But seems like the selectors got overexcited and got him in ODI and ruined both...
Either way, if we really wanted the wins in home ground like India, and Sri Lanka,, we should create pithces just for us,, we used to do that but somehow we are not doing it anymore. Home advantage doesnt only mean the crowds,, it also means the pitch that the players play in,, Get that BCB!!

I don't think he was LOLing at his earlier post, which wasn't a joke, but a sarcastic statement. Then he was using the "causal LOL" that we tend to use every time we post anything on social sites, once he was proven "wrong," or his sarcastic comment turned out to be true...

A bit too late for the boys, if they had played sensible cricket, they could have won the series, but this is a ray of sunshine for the fans who maybe thought that it would have been a whitewash.
Hope they play better cricket in the test series and win at least 1 test. Would be a boost for them.
All my good wishes to the BD team.

For some reason this reminded of a brilliant excerpt from Milan Kundera's "The Book of Laughter and Forgetting":
"The bloody massacre in Bangladesh quickly covered over the memory of the Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia, the assasination of Allende drowned out the groans of Bangladesh, the war in the Sinai Desert made people forget Allende, the Cambodian massacre made people forget Sinai, and so and so forth until ultimately everyone lets everything be forgotten." (p.7)
