The fact that Shahadat hossain has been extracting bounce should have west Indian pacers licking their lips for some upcoming torment.

If the Seam hits the pitch by chance/luck, it might move a little bit if lucky ...and then it may produce wkt if luck favors.... This is the bowling mantra for BD...

Usually, on day 4/5 the pitch turns a lot, if there are a lot of cracks...

You guys should be more concerned about Permaul not Narine. Both of them very dangerous though.

at least they kept it tight that over...all we could have hoped for with our toothless attack and a lifeless pitch.

at least go for a draw and nothing else, in fact drawing this test match without weather interventions would look really good on Bangladesh considering what position we are in right now....

10 years ago they would declare at 370-3...now at least we can make them bat again if they declare before 500.

Good work from the deshi boys. They have maintained a good line and length, brought the RR to 3.70. But in Tests RR dont matter much. We need to pick some wickets. Hoping for couple of wickets before Tea.

The containment bowling strategy, the only strategy known to Mushfique with and without the customary brain-freeze, didn't and won't work with Chandu. They're going for 600 and will bat until lunch tomorrow. That'll give them more than enough time to bowl us out twice. If cracks and roughs appear on the pitch by final session of day 3, we'll be bowled out twice before tea on day 4. So the G2G is still on baby!

Narine and Permaul don't look too threatening to me...they'll get the customary wickets via Tamim deciding that he's going to go from 75 to 100 in a single stroke, another one where the ball will hit the helmet, then bounce 5x on the pitch before falling into the keepers gloves, and a few leg befores that would be shaving the stumps but for a couple of feet on either side. Apart from that, I don't think they'll actually trouble the batsman. Bishoo was supposed to be the brown Shane Warne but he was pretty average. Shakib and Gazi barely got any purchase from this track, I don't think Narine or a debutant can do much damage. My money is on Sammy to wreak havok with his bounce and lack of pace and Rampaul to trouble with his lines. I think Best, Narine, and Permaul will wish they never boarded the plane in Barbados.

May be, we are turning things around.
We haven't managed any wicket but gave away only 76 runs in the whole session.

If they can continue with this disciplined bowling, with runs being checked, wickets will come Inshallah.
