Well he did sign some decent players on deadline day. Especially Mertesacker and Arteta are great buys. Mertesacker will be really helpful as Arsenal lack strength in the team. And Arteta is a decent replacement for Nasri. So unlike before, he atleast bought a few new established players in, not babies. Benayoun is also not too bad.

Wenger needs to go. He has just been stubborn and has only been interested in making profit for his board of directors.

Biggest mistake is when he didn't play a full team in the fa cup final in Wales.

Lol what did you want him to do? Sign CR or Messi? Com'on man, I do not like Arsenal but I have to say his recent signings on deadline day were far better than his signings before. And I honestly do think Arteta will make the midfield much stronger. He is a great playmaker. Not as good as Nasri or Fab but thats all he could get right now.

you dont have to sign messi or CR to make difference.. There are lots of player like rooney, chicharito, young, suraez etc etc who can makes difference.. He could have signed Y'villa very promising striker playing in some french club but he didnt because that'll cost him more than 20 mil.. He could have easily signed gary cahil but he didnt for the same reason.. These things are gonna cost him this season..just Look at other team squad.. Arsenal have nothing except wilshere,rvp.. What will they do if rvp get injured?? You have to spend now if you want to get something Whereas aresenal doing nothing.. They yet to buy a player for more than 20+ mil....
Arteta is a good player not great.. They badly need atlest one big signing if they want stay at top 4..

the sad thing is all of their signing had been their second options. there had been good signing , but it'll take them a while to blend into the team...

Wenger will go down as a managerial great. So many players turned world-class under his watch - Bergkamp, Vieira, Henry, Pires, Ljunberg, Fabregas, Nasri. It is unfair to blame him for Arsenal's current fortunes. Arsenal just can't compete financially for the top players in the world. Even if they can afford the transfer fee it is hard for them to match the wage expectations that these players have nowadays. Fabregas was always going to go. It was just a matter of time. A player of his calibre should not be stopped from winning trophies and achieving his full potential. Wenger recognised that. However Nasri's attitude was disappointing and downright greedy. He let Wenger down. Regarding his signings I think Wenger did well under the circumstances. He brought in some interesting young talent such as Oxlade-Chamberlain, Miyaichi and Campbell and also bought some established players from abroad - Mertesacker, Park Chu-Young as well as players with proven ability in the Premier League - Arteta and Benayoun. Not great players and by no means like-for-life replacements for Fabregas and Nasri but good players who'll enable them to challenge for a CL place. Wenger will also rely on RVP and Wilshere - by far the two best players remaining - to step their game up by a few notches, supported by the likes of Walcott, Ramsey, Song and co.

bhai, it's one thing to be listed as being a rich club and another thing is having the cash on hand for transfer spending. For example, Barcelona is one of the richest club but they had their hand tied this seasons. Many clubs have heavy debts that prevents them from spending a lot. Also, currently a financial fair play rule is in effect , which is why clubs can no longer go for a spending spree ...

Yeah barcelona is one of the richest club..but They have lots of debts yet they spent almost 50 mil in this transfer window.. And again we are hearing speculation about getting neymar which will cost atleast 45 mil..
Im sure Aresenal dont have any debts at all yet they dont spend.. Its all matter of intention... Liverpool have spend almost 100+ mil in this transfer window.. Do you know how they have get that money?? From bank loan.. And let alone everything, in this transfer window they have got 50+ mil.. But how much they have spend?? Not more 30+ mil..

2 points off 3rd position. Not so bad for a stupid/arrogant/stubborn manager and a team full of babies!!

The defence always plays like a bunch of fairies for arsenal . Why doesn't wenger get a bunch of proper defenders. If you want to win British trophies these days you need good and solid defenders as the forwards of opposing teams are getting bigger.

^ It almost was!

Well played, the Gunners! With this spirit, we'll go far. And with this momentum, 4th place should be held onto easily (maybe even 3rd .

Tbh.. Arsenals' future looking bright.. What they need is a good backup striker of Rvp and a decent defender.. Thats it.. With both oxlade and wilshere in the midfield they will be a formidable team.. And oh they need to keep Rvp first..
