At the last min, finally we have a somewhat stable version of our redesigned Fantasy Cricket. It took insane amount of time but it is here. Hopefully all will enjoy

Following is a copy paste of current rules. Only 2 days left for BD vs IND match team creation. So do it now.

Current Fantasy system is integrated with our forum. So you won't have register there again.

BC Fantasy Cricket Rules

Please read the rules carefully to understand the game objectives. If you have participated in earlier version of BC Fantasy Cricket, then please make sure you completely read through this page, as the rules have changed considerably. General Rules:

* Each BC Fantasy Cricket game is based on a real cricket match that is played between Bangladesh and any other country.
* You have to create a Fantasy team comprised of real players for the match.
* To create your team you will have to meet all the "Team Requirements" which are listed on team creation page, under "Requirements" column.
* Usually the requirements will be total number of players that you can select in your team, minimum number batsman and bowlers that you must select in your team.
* Along with the above requirements, there is also minimum number of "Foreign Team" player that must select.
* Please note that the points that your foreign team players accumulate, will be deducted from your team; which means, during foreign team player selection your aim should be to select worse possible players.
* The aim of your Fantasy Team should be to get maximum points.
* If you see Red light on your team, it means you have not fulfilled all the requirements. Your team will not be able to participate in the Fantasy game until you meet all the requirements and your light turns green.


General Points List:
* 1 point for each run
* 20 points for each wicket
* -2 points for each extra run given by a bowler


Bonus Points List:
* 5 points bonus for batsman for each half-century(25 runs)
* 10 points bonus for batsman for each half-century(50 runs)
* 20points bonus for batsman for each half-century(100 runs)
* 5 points bonus for a bowler for every three wicket in a match
* 10 points bonus for a bowler for every four wicket in a match
* 20 points bonus for a bowler for every five wicket in a match
* Please note that batting bonus points will only be awarded to the batsmen in your team. Similarly, bowling bonus points will be awarded only to bowlers in your team. It means, if a bowler in your team makes 50 runs, you will not get the 10 bonus points. However, both batsman and bowlers will get all the points from General Points lists.


Foreign Team Player Points Deduction:
* Your foreign players will get points according to the above Points Lists. Only difference is that the total sum will be deducted, instead of being added to your team total points.

* BC Fantasy Cricket is still in beta stage. It is being continuously worked on. If you notice bugs, typo or any kind of error please do notify Nasif by a private message. We hope you will enjoy the WC Fantasy games.

Nasif bhai, how can you change the name of your team?

I have created one with name 'Bangladesh', as I have to take foreign players to complete the team, I want to change the team name.

As I have said, the application is still in beta. The name editing feature hasn't been added yet. I will probably do it at the end of today or tomorrow. You will be able edit it then

Nasif Bhai, I'm not being able to complete my team, I don't see any player when I try to add them, my team's name is Giant Killers.

That's awesome Nasif bhai. I am able to create a team, but cannot edit players or delete team. Rules give an invalid error. I'd like to participate in this year's fantasy cricket, so please let me know what to do. Thanks, now get some sleep.

What's the deal with the foreign players? why would one need to include them? It can only accumulate negetive points.

Rules link is fixed.

When you are on Team Management, you can delete a player from your team by just clicking on "Remove" on the row of player list table. I am not sure what you meant by edit players.

To add players, select a player from one of the selection box and click on the Bat or Ball icon next to the selection box to add that player.

The strategy here is see how good are you in finding the worst possible foreign team players. If you select very good players in your foreign team, then you obviously will loose lot of points. This adds more challenge to the game.

This is just part of the overall fantasy strategy. Get the best BD players and choose the worst foreign player!

Thanks. Oh by edit I meant editing players listed (i.e. stats, names, etc), but I didn't know they were going to be real players so it doesn't matter.

So is it going to be just one game per person on the day of the match? How is the final score achieved?

What do you mean? Don't you see player names on the selection box? See the attached pic:




To add player to your team, just select the player and click on the Bat of Ball right next to it. To remove player, click on "Remove" on the player list.

Once your team is valid, you will see the light turn to green.

Yes, they are real players

You create team for each real Match, and your players are for that Match only. E.g, for BD vs IND match, you create one team, then again create another for BD vs SL.

Points calculation are described in the Rules page.

Individual match winners are the one who has the hight points. Champion is the overall winner of the Tournament, in this case whoever has the highest point after combining BD vs IND, BD vs SL and BD vs Bermuda match.

Its fixed now. You should see players on all matches.

It has to fulfill the requirements:

My Team Total Players: 1, Foreign Players: 0 Batsman: 1, Bowler: 0

Requirments Total Players: 11, Min. Foreign Player: 5 Min. Batsman: 5, Min. Bowler: 5

See the requirements column, it says you need 11 players, 5 foreign players, 5 batsman and 5 bowler. You must meet/exceed those requirements for your team. Your team player counts will be listed under "My Team" column.

Once you meet the requirements you will valid status and green light.

I created a 'test' team for testing. How can I delete it? Or, better, how can I change the team name? Or should I just create a new team?

You won't be able to create new team for that match anymore.
