Default Your best memory in BC

My best memory(apart from BD wins) in BC is the time when bunch of us were managing team and playing a fantasy league(MLC) created by dilscoop. It was so fun. we were fighting like little kids over imaginary teams and bragging rights. all the team threads were also gold comedy!

I drafted in Shewag in my team just to make fun of that guy and I did made fun of that guy with couple of press conference(!). here is one if you want to see a silly post

Shewag turned out to be the player for me lol. almost took me to the world series single handily.

dilscoop amazing editing skill added to the league with prices and fake cricinfo edit.

we got so involved with player draft that dilscoop onetime left because of the chaos

had lots of fun in that one month of MLC.

please share your best memory/time/moment in BC

I once mentioned how the hive mind came together when I think I first changed my profile to Ershad, bk changed to Hasina and another dude to Khaleda or something. Also immediately following it we all changed our avatar to Dr. Zed in suits....lol

Then Jeopardy! thread was pretty hot and kind of had fun. ATMR is sorely missed here. He is a supermoderator yet he always brought life to the forum.

But unfortunately (fortunately) the one that tops is BD win over NZ after Sakeb-Riyad partnership. I never did cocaine but I heard there is some kind of invisible camaraderie between those people who do those... The vibe and positive atmosphere in the forum was palpable.

Well guess that was my (our) cocaine moment.

My best memory is yet to come and will probably be on the day when I become the admin of this forum. Hopefully not too long and as @Raat_bhediya bro would agree as I deserve a promotion.

Six profound (happy) moments out of so many in the 12+ years in BC.

1. I_Knockout_You > Bd_Knockout_India > to our dear "Anher". What an amazing confident thread you created for the March 17, 2017 match. Backdrop on losing Rana (RIP). Kumble's comment on Mash on not having time to prepare for the next series against us right after the WC finals (meaning they were almost destined to be in the finals - while we haven't even played group matches yet.)

http://www.banglacricket.com/alochon...highlight=2007

Aklemalp, you will love my post #13 in that thread (Guaranteed).

2. Iftar get together in Dhaka (2013). Some wonderful big hearted people of BC. Will not forget ever. BC-10
From left - Tigers_eye, Riankhan, theBest, Warwolf, Al Sagar, Rabz, Fuadomar, Trigger Tiger, Ahnaf, Maysun

4. Meeting Pagol_Chagol in Atlanta. Ofcourse we met in BD many moons back. 1983-1987, lol.

5. Shaad Mama. It was in the 80s as well. When I owned Dhaka.

6. lal-shak thread. Proud to be the inspiration on this legendary Doc's thread

MoinKhan (Atlanta) is my Cadet college classmate, who don't post much. So he don't count.

My first article published.

I have more...just gotta find them.

I like the memory of running Champions Trophy fantasy.

And also BPL-5 fantasy league

What else? I remembered one time in 2015 in early December, there was a women's game going on...and me and BK were cheering the girls on...I believe it was only of the two of us posting in that thread...unfortunately can't find it because it was lost due to the crash that occurred a few days after.

I remember that time when I lost my father, and the support I got my all the guys who posted words of comfort and sympathy.

My best memories were when I was new to the forum in 2009-2010.

I was an enthusiastic and illiterate guy. My English and grammar wasn't on par to what I know now. I used to include in every post of mine the BD flag...in fact, my very first post on this forum is that of the BD flag.

I have so much more to say...

I will try to dig in support and try to find the get together video in a Kebab place at Dhanmondi. That was the second time I met Mahmood.

Also met Zunaid Bhai, Ammark, Rabz, Warwolf, Auntu, Al Sagar and lot many more.

CT match against NZ where BD pulled off one of the most thrilling wins of all time, all of a sudden Mods all became bunch of Gandhis and Madelas, posters were all kissing, hugging and congratulating each other, entire BC was like one big dysfunctional yet happy family, those couple of hours were true Kumbaya with zero negativity and definitely my best memory here.

Best memory would be right here!

Watching a BD Match live (from SBNS) with fellow BC members and won!
so much preparation & pain I had to go through! Still worth every bit of it!
back in 2008!

My white wash sign at the stadium against Zim. Coming in the front page next day in most daily newspapers. Clearly showing banglacricket.com and Tigers_eye
