**Match Thread=> 4th T20I|Bangladesh v Zimbabwe at Khulna, Jan 22, 2016**
[ Keep your head up high and smile. ]
VERSUS
[ A revived team]
Welcome one, welcome all to the 4th T20I match thread where the Bangladesh team is leading in the series by 2-1.
With the excess experimentation by Bangladesh in the 3rd T20I that have some fans questioning the ability of the team, the Tigers will be hoping to have most of their players back to deliver the final for the series win.
Zimbabwe on the other hand are buoyed by the win in the last match. Their batsmen especially are content that they have picked up some kind of form. So far they looked like the established team that we have been accustomed to.
Tamim might return, replacing Imrul.
Some interesting stats:
-Shakib is only 1 wicket away from becoming the 10th bowler to take 50 wickets in T20Is.
-Sabbir Rahman is the leading run-scorer for Bangladesh in this format over the past year with 230 runs in 8 innings at an average of 38.33 with 2 half centuries and high score of 51*
-Hamilton Masakadza and Vusi Sibanda have been the most successful batting pair for Zimbabwe with 494 runs in 14 innings with highest of 101.

Come on Guys!!! Go Tigers!!!!!1

The team needs a hitter, Riyad/Anamul wont cut!
It desperately needs a big hitter!
This should be the team:
1) Tamim
2) Shoumya
3) Shabbir
4) Mushfique
5) Shakib
6) Replace with the biggest hitter of cricket ball you can find in Bangladesh
7) Nurul
8) Mashrafe
9) Rony
10) Mustafizur
11) Taskin
4 pacers, 2 right arm and 2 left arm, gives a balance and all attacking options to the captain (keep taking wickets to stem runflow). And yeah, Riyad is proving that he can't play T20 yet, but he needs to step up his game in this last T20 to survive selection. A big day for him definitely.
Also, Anamul is not a hitter, at best a touch player going at a strike rate of 105.
We absolutely need someone to burgeon it. Who is the muscle man in BD? Don't tell me it's Kayes!

So what's the actual squad for this T20? Was it announced or is the team management just going to pick randomly? Desperately wanna see someone else play in Riyad's place and see how he does. Perhaps Riyad could be tried a little bit higher up the order.

In general Shabbir is a beast when it comes to clean hitting. I rate him better than Tamim now. Soumya has his silken touch but Riyad has been a disappointment. Where is Zia and Nasir?

Playing Mosaddek again? What nonsense. The kid should be drafted in longer formats not for T20s.

Thank you so much bro! Just checked. Was hoping we would experiment more and bring in Nasir or Anamul but this should do I guess. Need to win this match!

Zim will tie the series with our shoddy bowling and one-man batting line-up atm.
Mossadek is just as scrawny, if not scrawnier, than Nasir. I don't see the reason for his inclusion

Maybe there will be more than one change to the final eleven, considering that this match is played like a series deciding/knockout match.
For the series win !

I don't know why we are still asking for Nasir and Anamul. One has completely lost it with the bat and struggles to clear the ropes, and the other can't even maintain a 100sr if his life depended on it (remember the 3rd t20 when Zim toured).

Just for experiment sake. You can't just go into Asia Cup and T20WC with Riyad and Hom. Others deserve a chance to prove themselves as well.

Given the 14 men available on the squad currently listed, this would be my XI
Tamin
Imrul
Soumya
Sabbir Rahman
Mahmadullah
Nurul Hassan
Shakib
Mash
AH Rony
Taskin (is he really fully fit? If not then Muktar Ali)
Sunny

Anamul has better T20 stats than everyone in the current setup barring Shakib. Potential is there but we wish to persist with Riad. No doubt Anamul is selfish but I would rather have a selfish batsman than someone like Mosaddek who didn't heave single ball on the leg side in 20 deliveries or even Riad who scored like 30-40 runs in T20s through the past 1 year.
Why on earth are we experimenting? Anamul is skilled batsman for T20s and his performance in shorter formats will tell you so.

Stats of riyad- 100 matches average of 21 and Sr of 109
Anamul average of 27 and SR is 124.
Mosaddek has a SR of 95 in his T20 career.
But our selectors can't see through it. I also feel that Shamsur could be given a go, he can hit big though he has not performed in T20Is but way better gamble than mosaddek
