If I were Mash, I would have retired right after PAK match. Because farewells are emotional event, and I personally want these events to be as quick as possible. Like how Dhoni retired from Test. No Crying. No Drama. Swift departure.

Don't quite understand why it needs to be after Pakistan game? We are already out of the tournament and we should be ok with this captaincy change disruption at this point, if it allows us to play a stronger side. Miraz in place of Mash will make our side stronger because Miraz gives you 10 overs with ball, decent runs with the bat and safe pair of hands in the field. IMO Mash should be rested for the final game. We can give him a farewell game in Mirpur if needed.

If I were Mash now. I’d definitely announced the retirement now because then everyone knows what’s the situation and players might get extra motivation to win it for Mashrafe.

Mashrafee will go one way or another... sooner or later.

If I am Mash now, I would leave gracefully asap.

At this point the longer he stays, the more damage he will do to his legacy. There is not that much difference between love and hate...it can change with a flip of a coin.

Timing is everything.
