-drop Miraz for a pacer Rubel/Rahi. No point playing off spinner against india. Miraz will go for 70-80.
-Open with Fizz and Shakib
-Win the toss and bat first
-If we are chasing 300+ then open with Liton and Soumya. Drop Slowmim down the order.
-look to playout Bumrah and attack the rest
-attack Rahul, Jadav, Agarwal, Pant etc and try to put them under pressure early.
-do not drop Rohit, Kohli and Pandya

Too many batsman in the line-up. Drop one and bring on a pacer i.e. Rubel. At least one of Rohit/Kohli are bound to have an off-game this tournament. Kohli scored five half-centuries, and Rohit scored three centuries. The top order for once has to fire. Tamim is due for a big score. Bowling resources looks thin, which is why we need a extra seamer. This Indian side is overrated. Their middle and lower order looks weak. I'm not expecting a big win, but a win nonetheless, and I think they will.

SL and Pak have proven this world cup that they got what it takes to beat opposition we beat, and even beat some that we can't beat.

In order to live up to the self proclaimed tag "2nd best team in Asia", we should beat the best team in Asia tomorrow. I hope we can.

didn’t like Isam’s preview on cricinfo..titled “Bangladesh face the team their fans love to hate”...a bit “yellow” imo...mentions how the ‘ill-judged’ graphic with shaved heads of IND players; shaved by mustafizurs ‘cutters’ worsened the scene...forgets to mention that it was the satire supplement of a daily that published it and it all began with the mauka ads..generally he’s been good, don’t understand the angle of this article though..

Didn't like it one bit either , I don't understand why he needs to bring up these irrelevant past social media stuff to spice up this contest and entice Indian fans to start trolling us again.

He could have just focused on saying that this is increasingly becoming a hot contest as the two teams have faced in many knockout matches with the Asia cup finals and world tournament quarters and semis instead of bringing up all these.

^I did not red it but reading the title I thought some Indian journalist brought this up again, but no it was Isam.

So are we still the only team to have successfully chased down a 300+ total this WC ?

Bismillah,

I think so. Simon vhai, how are you?

For the first time I was rooting for India yesterday for the India - England match so that we had higher chances of getting it to Semi. England won. Anyway, today is a brand new day.

Bangladesh, let's win the match against IN. Let's focus on this match only. Play it as our final World Cup match. I believe and we believe in you!

Isam has gone Sidhu on us with the title.

Tbh I don’t hate India that much anymore seeing a lot of appreciation and respect towards us. Although I do love the rivalry

For us, hope our management looked at the Ind Vs England game closely. That smaller boundary made it hard for their spinners to operate so it would only make sense to go in with an extra seamer. I know pitch is expected to be slower but I think our seamers can take advantage of it more then our spinners. Mash has to be very smart with how he uses Shakib and Mosaddek.
I agree with it.

that was so poor from Isam. the satire pic was years ago and now he had to bring it up again which has no relevance to this game. no relevance at all.

lately he has been writing a lot cra* articles. ever since he joined CI. maybe that's what it takes to keep the good job there.

overall, I have been very disappointed with our media in this WC. they ask all the wrong questions and tries to get that juicy headline.

I wish Joya Ahsan came to support us, like Rhiana did to West Indies.

Whatever happens in tomorrow's game I hope there wont be any regrets.
I can live with Williamson or Warners opportunities not taken but can't take any blunders against Ind.

^ I mean, batting wise, you can't go lower than not being able to take 1 run off 3 balls with two set batsmen.

It is harder to weigh the blunders in fielding. Because every chance dropped could be a game winner. You never know.

I hope we win the toss. Bat first and bat big and then hopefully tighten the screws when they chase.

I would take a gamble at Rahi as India has a record of not playing well against our new seamers.

As I have said this before, our openers from both bowling and batting has to play the biggest role.

My lineup

Tamim
Soumya
Shakib
Mushy
Liton
Riyad
Mosaddek
Saifuddin
Mash
Rahi
Fizz
Rahi got smashed by India in the warm up game as usual he's rubbish

I have a bad feeling India will win the toss but have a good feeling we'll chase down the target and win . India's weaknesses are starting to get exposed and they'll have only a day to recover from a bad loss. Our players should be well rested and hopefully more focused and alert.

I hope our players are all over India like those nadus-nudus tigers on your avatar.
