I want Mash to sit this out. if that meant his last match was vs Ind so be it. Mash always seemed to me a player who thinks about the team more than him, but in this WC it does not look like that at all.

Why would you rest Shakib? Someone from the final (Aus/Ind/Eng) will need to work hard to overcome his performance to get the MoT.

The only change would be Mehedi for Rubel. Current MP Mash will never sit down.

Lords pitch offers some bounce and carry. It’s a lively wicket most times. Rubel should bowl out his overs before 44th over. Simple as that, no two ways. Mashrafee FGS, bowl decent lines seam up, stop using cutters with the new ball and bowling 75mph stuffs. Not only he is gone without much wicket he bowls all over the place with the new ball, and resorts to cutters so early on. Use the conditions if early on bowl seam up. That is what go you wickets in the first 10 before, throughout your career. Picking Miraz as I feel BD better to go with a specialist off spinner as Pak has many left handers at the top.

Not a dead rubber. If we lose, we finish 7th place which is really bad.

If we win, we finish 5th.

Being in the top 5 ODI teams is a pretty big deal for Bangladesh.

Very important game for both teams I reckon so I wouldn't take this game lightly. I would play the same team and bring in Riyad if he is fit. Its the strategy that needs to be adjusted more then the team.

Hopefully we win the toss which we have been very unlucky with. Bat first and look to score around 320-340. Bowling, as Isam pointed, we need to bowl Shakib more during the 20 overs.. Maybe get atleast 6-7 overs during this phase. I would not use Saifuddin at all during the first 15 overs and use him in 3 spells from 15-50. I was in favor of Mash bowling the first spell but since its not working, its best to leave him out until the end of first PP. First 15 overs should be bowled between Rubel-Fizz-Shakib and then bring in Mash for the second change. Mosaddek can also be tried for a few overs early against Imam ul Haque.

With two left handers opening and a key left hander in the middle order, MIraz is a must tomorrow. He should open the bowling with Mash.

Actually we would be relegated to 8th if we lose and SA wins against Aus. Since SA is already eliminated they are playing pressure free cricket and Aus may rest key players in their dead rubber.
