Tamim Iqbal should also have been selected. He averaged 78.16 for Chittagong in the NCL last season and was also doing okay for the U-19 team too.

best of luck to the boys in Pakistan.

but i think the schedule is way too cramped in.
i mean first match on Aug 17
then four day match on 23 (23-26)
followed by another one day on 27th !!
then again back on the field on the 31st !!!
thats 6 days of cricket in 9 days.

are they playing against the same opponents ??

According to the news it seems that they are going to play against the same team i.e. Pakistan National Cricket Academy team..Expecting some consistent knocks from Mehrab Jr.I would like to see him to become matured to be the one to replace Ash-Fool.

How does Ittefaq say that first day of 4 days game 'Darun Ketechey'? 230/6 is a moderate performance and you can't say it excellent. Zohurul Islam is unbeaten on 96 and Nadif scored 56(3x4, 4x6). This was till yesterday.

Is there any updates for today?

I agree. i think Mehrab Jr. are better than Bashar in the longer version of the game. But he isn't ready yet. Will need more polishing.

As for Tamim. He exclusion was justified in my book. He couldn't do anything when it mattered the most. Even against Eng-19 either 6 or zero was his moto. Need to know his ability; wait eight to ten years then he can be our Jaya or shewag.
